she's only really been a thing for DAC, her talent buffs the last few patches have made people start picking her

She's appearing more or less out of the dumpster / niche status in a long time.

Why do aghs scepters given to allies by an alchemist give +200 hp and +150 mana instead of the +175 hp and +175 mana that is stated on a normal aghs?
|
Prolly because they changed aghs @6.87 from 200/150 to 175/175 and icetoad just forgot to either change the tooltip or the actual gains from the given aghs.
|
It gives the correct stats (+175/175 HP/Mana), the tooltip is just out of date.

why do ppl take the spell amp talent on mag when it doesnt improve empower
|
If u dont intend to build right click at all and plan to build items like blink force shiva refresher instead of Daedalus and stuff u are not going to get a lot out of +25 ias. Im not entirely sure if the spell amp enough to push shockwave above some threshold where u can oneshot certain creeps to make u farm faster but overall its really high % for lvl 10 talent.
|
+25 AS or +45 dmg Shockwave, if you're pos 3 you won't be big enough to sit in a fight and might not even look towards rightclick until after your first three items.
|
Power treads + 25 attack speed talent > arcane boots + 15% spell amp Right click helps you farm so much faster than shockwave ever will. Even with +15% spell amp you still don't 1 hit a creep wave with shockwave.
|
are we talking about real dota or 2k games where pos 3 magnus has all the time and space in the world to run around and right click creeps?

There are a variety of possible problems: attitude, exhaustion, you not learning at the same rate as everyone else, mental tilt, poor concentration, bad hero picks. Hard to say without more information.

While many of these games I was so tilted by the endless loss streak I purposefully didn't try to win, I think it might be a meta thing. I always was a passive/farmy player and this meta is the anti-me. I can't even achieve my pre-7.00 cs quota on the new map.
But then again, it actually took many games of me actually trying and playing to win to finally say 'Fuck it, I'll afk jungle like all those retards the last 10 games'.
Edit: I checked the 0 deny game, it was an impossible lane matchup. If you check, I had 5 cs at 5 min. Afk jungler in team made sure the lane was lost before the game even began and the jungle was occupied. Notice how our mid solo-died to PA 5 times in 8 minutes?
And that was one of the less stompy games. Last 3-4 games have been complete stomps and I seem unable to do anything about it.

If you can't win on 3 accounts look at yourself. Surely it can't always be your teammates. Tilt less and only show up to WINNABLE fights. If its an unwinnable fight secure farm elsewhere and it will help your team later. They might get mad at you for not coming to help, but just know inside that it is the right decision. Pick heroes that have ability to farm without any teammates help if you have to fall back to jungle. I also suggest iron talon on all melee heroes as it helps you farm so much faster. You can farm wave and then jungle, rinse and repeat. Focusing on your own play will help you more than looking at your dumbass teammates. Let their deaths across the map create space for your own farm so you can carry them inevitably in the end.

I think he might have taken that ideal too far. Not showing up to fights unless he happens to be where it occurs. Thus missing winnable fights and the enemy slowly wins the game. If this is the case I would suggest playing a roaming position 4 to get a feeling for how to create fight opportunities and when they are bad or good (so he can join from a core role).
I have not watched any actual replays though because this is the simple answer thread and thus I am not spending a ton of time on it.

Ok, WTF is going on?
4th time now I've seen an antimage skipping battlefury. They simply don't build it. And they lose, too, because they want to farm, still, which makes zero sense with a fighting build but what can you do.
So who put this "new build" in the heads of the kids in my games?

Miracle all-star game performance no doubt

But they don't even get phase or atos...
