also an easy way to know whether or not you'll be having an awful game when you load up and notice that 2 or 3 ppl on your team have been previously muted by you XD

Sometimes when u miss the loading screen and see ur teammates first time in the picking screen and u are like "hey guys, we kinda need support, who wants to play?" no one answers, fine. After picks realize u got whole team muted. good old dota matchmaking finding u preferred teammates as always.

Need a good Mid Lane / Carry to power through from 3K to 4K in the current patch. Should I Just spam slark and be done with it? Also willing to spam Omni / Elder Titan if it comes to supporting.
What are some good offlaners , mid / carries in my MMR range ?

What are some good offlaners , mid / carries in my MMR range ? Doesn't rly matter what hero you play as long as you're better at dota and you enjoy the hero/are good at it. If you want heroes that are a little strong at the moment then pick slark/morph/terrorblade/ and idk what mid heroes, but really just play heroes you like to play and improve faster than everyone else.

What are some good offlaners , mid / carries in my MMR range ? The heroes you play the best, sure some heroes are stronger, fitting the meta more, but at this level the execution can vastly outweight the picks. It can be more frustrating to lose with omni than say earth spirit because at least you are guaranteed some fun with es.

You want ease of use and someone that can farm and take advantage of farm while allowing your team to take advantage. Slark is an easy carry and with just a shadow blade you can allow your team to take advantage of the fear you put in enemy supports.
People forget about detection at that mmr too and slark can terrorize them.
Et... Not so much.
Omni is a good support tho bc people don't buy diffusal at this mmr and his counter initation potential can turn a fight on its head.
In general if you're looking to grind mmr, spamming strong meta heroes is always a good idea.

im just finding that more and more and more people are becoming vocal in EUW and i get triggered REALLY easily so i'm just muting everyone who says something even the slightest bit annoying, which is practically 1-2 people per game within 5 minutes as of late :/ i used to not ever mute but fuck man 2k mmr is literally playing with kindergartens and its just not worth it, why put yourself thru that time and time again?
i have another question,
4) when bane sleeps, i know there's a 1 second dmg immunity , and you can break the sleep using a spell. does the first spell used on the slept target do damage (after the 1 sec period)?
tnx

What's the general game plan like for farming up a Chaos Knight? I'm somewhat interested in playing him since he's a pretty flexible carry that matches up well against some of the meta carries, but he doesn't seem like he has much ability to flash farm or anything which can make things pretty awkward if you're relying on your lane mates to help you get early last hits.
Also is drums -> Armlet -> Bkb/Manta still the build?

treads (wand) armlet (perhaps a HOTD) SNY BKB AC into whatever the game necessitates is the build I think.
my curiosity in the build is if an echo sabre fits anywhere..he has mana issues early on and echo sabre can alleviate them PLUS you can annihilate anyone you rift even faster than before.

Poking around a bit I saw Treads, Echo Saber, Armlet suggested which I may try out. Otherwise I'll give the above a shot.
One nice thing about sabre on CK is you want a lot of up front hits to proc a crit for the - armor effect so it has some synergy there in addition to the stats.

stun into rift would dish out a truck load of dmg on a poor support in mere seconds with an echo sabre..it has promise

Does echo sabre work with illusions

What are the hard counters to DK at the 3k-4k level? AA perhaps?
I'm planning to power MMR my way to 4k this weekend by spamming DK mid just because. So i want to know which heroes should I ban during pick phase. I used to spam WR mid and got decent success but there were games where I couldn't farm fast enough to push down towers early and the other team's carries just started to run over.
So I think DK might be a better alternative because: - He can do well mid against most heroes due to his survivability - He can push down towers easily with just wand, thread and a bracer with dragon form (even if your teams are potatoes you can just solo pushing down tower quick enough while they feed on the other side of the map so that at least your team won't be so severely behind). - BKB is always an option if the other team has magic users (this is where I think DK is better than WR because I tend to not want to pick BKB on WR as it slows down her path towards damage items which she desperately needs, while DK getting BKB is not affected as much due to Dragon Form)
Appreciate any critics on my analysis, though keep in mind that I'm in the 3-4k pool so be gentle

there are no 'hard counters' in dota. this isnt lol there are a lot of heroes that would be happy to face a dk in mid though. a good sf will absolutely shit on dk by either eclipsing him in cs or just killing him outright (depends on whether dk sacrifices cs to control runes) unless dk starts with a quelling and stout and stalls sf's bottle for a long time. invoker will have a field day qop will bully dk out of lane quite easily too puck likewise will be happy to sit in lane and farm whilst nuking you
the problem with dk is hes not very good at 'controlling' the game compared to other mids. if you can get a quick shadowblade/blink or maybe a build with drums or something that allows dk to initiate fights while hes strong, you can have some success but generally the other mids will be able to dictate the pace of the game better. certain lineups that have high sustain and good push also work with him, but those are niche compositions rather than the norm
