I mean it still does what it needs to. Puck ES Warlock and small numbers of Meepos can't fight your Manta Illus comfortably, and illusions of a 6-slot CK still do not-ignorable amounts of tower damage if left alone.

They have a billion ways of cancelling BKB-TP though. void, net, puck aghs, wl ult, echo. The only thing is actually stops is fissure/totem (+sheep/euls/etc I guess). They can 100% afford to burn an ult to kill the 8-slotted CK.

It's ok for fighting into echo etc, but I don't think it helps your rat at all unless the max-range cancel with fissure happens to be the only way they're catching you.

in fact, fun common misconception: echo doesn't have a stun of its own, it's just damage. the stun comes from aftershock, which only applies in its radius around es. a lot of units that take damage from echo don't get stunned

it's a big part of why core shaker wants to max aftershock first (so he can actually stunlock) and why 414 is way better than 441 on support shaker

Earthbind also doesn't go through BKB either, and if Warlock uses ult to stop a TP, they're down a WL ult if you buy back, which usually is enough to make a fight loseable at that point.

Basically the only "reasonable" options are Mana Void and Abyssal Blade, which both can only really be on one hero.

Yeah maybe that could work too just might be tricky to get the real AM disarmed in time. Evasion stacking provides massive ehp bonus if they dont get mkbs. It's pretty gimmicky but good at taking advantage of dumber players and meepo.

Yes, but crit is just a multiplier so it doesn't favor Agi/AS or Str/damage in any way. Critting more often isn't "better" than critting bigger, so the AS/damage balance point is unaffected by whether or not you have crit.

AC is predicated on whether or not someone else on your team has it. I assumed yes and didn't mention it in a 6 slot ultra-lategame scenario, but if not, Ver's correct that you have to get it (even if you're not getting double BFly). If no one else is carrying the aura, it's a hugely important boost to both survivability and damage (remember that Illusions offensively still benefit from the aura AS and -armor).

spec usually gets refresher to have 15 seconds of haunt (haunt > wait full duration > refresh > haunt again)

That's minimum 750 damage from radiance burn alone + illusion attacks with desolate & dispersion on top
