proabably, but for now you can't use the winter map at all.

Is there a tutorial on how to coach in Dota 2? I know how to join but don't know how to draw on screen, highlight HUD, etc.

Are there any go-to position 5 supports to pick when facing a lineup of ganking heroes? Nyx, Storm, etc.
I pick ogre in this situation cause he's tanky, but would like to know what other people do.

I kind of like Abaddon, he doesn't really give a fuck about the snowbally pub stompers like Riki and Nyx.

Hey guys, does anyone know how to optimize Reborn settings for Mac OSX? I'm using a 13" Macbook Pro. I used to be able to get decent framerates with Source 1, but it seems like it's difficult with Reborns engine. I removed all the advanced settings and tinkering with the screen resolution combinations does not seem to give a good playable low settings. :/ I'm still hitting 10-20 fps when there are teamfights in a solo bot match so I doubt that will improve when I do get to play with other people.
(Yes I know I can bootcamp, I can sell this and get 2 windows based laptops with equal or greater performance, >insert all the mac jokes here but those aren't options as of now)

My go-to strategy for that is playing defensively if I can't see them on the map and making sure I'm out of danger but in range to help my cores but have an escape route of my own. Granted, I play very greedy position 4 roles, so I have a few items to back me up, but in general it's a solid way to stay safe against ganking heroes as any hero. Look at their lineup, their items, and their levels; determine if they can kill you, which ones they need to be able to kill you, and make sure you always see those heroes on the map if you're playing aggressively or greedily.

I suspect that they'll make the winter map an item or option like the desert terrain, it would only make sense. I look forward to having terrain options, maybe one to go with each weather effect. A plagued terrain for Pestilence, nice golden Fall colours for Harvest weather, et cetera.

wyvern is a top tier support in this position because of her ability to completely turn around ganks as well as save her allies. you just have to be really good at knowing when its ok to cold embrace your ally.

does using BKB on Zet's double cause the main BKB to decrease in duration?
I'm guessing no but seeing Yango's comment in the guide thread made me curious

I haven't checked post-6.82 DotA 1. Prior to 6.82 BKB CD was still by item instance rather than by hero, so the answer was no.

and in this current version, the CD is by hero correct? however, arc warden's ultimate is a clone, not a hero with independent cd's and whatnot which is why necro 3 is good because you can have 2 of them?
so im not sure if the way that the CD is established (bkb cd being tied to the hero) or if necro 3 (ability to spawn one set of necro minions being tied to the hero) is the better example of what will happen. we'll find out soon i bet

I mean even if the Zet clone is treated as a separate unit, there's still the question of "is the Zet clone created by each ult cast a different unit, or is it the same unit being spawned again?"
No item other than BKB has relevance to that question.

ok so you're saying the question here is:
zet makes clone 1
clone 1 dies
zet makes clone 2
does clone 2 inherit the same CD as clone 1?

Yes.
Previously this was an irrelevant question because copying the real Zet's BKB meant you just got the real Zet's BKB CD.

yeah it actually went from irrelevant to pretty interesting because of the CD changes to bkb. i'll be interested to see how icefrog handles it because being able to have a (theoretically) infinite 10s bkb charge on the clone if it were to re-inherit zet's bkb cd (upon spawning clone 2+) would be pretty dirty.

It's not too huge of a deal because you most likely won't get BKB, unless it's to protect a Rapier on your main hero.

What is your rotation for multitasking in DotA 2 during the laning phase?
Do you check your current lane, then glance at the minimap to see enemy positions, and then see the (presumably warded) runes and ancient stacks, then go back to checking the lane/farming? I find that my map awareness is bad, and that I get picked off. The fact that the supports don't buy wards at my low level of pub isn't helpful, but here have been times where I just haven't kept track of my enemies, and pay for it.
