And in a few days it will all be on reset anyway. Exciting times await us;) I blame Icefrog for setting them up by boring them to death with this patch.

The reason why Liquid started to loose their edge in old patch was that other teams watched all their replays and figures the way Liquid makes support rotations. New patch changes lanes a lot and you'll need to figure out new rotations.Liquid again have an edge with that if GH figures out how to be as efficient as he was with old patch. Safelane was buffed a lot while middle and offlane were nerfed a lot. This should mean Miracle changes permanently to safeline. Offliners need to self suffient and tanky, both Matu and MC have those heroes in their heropool. I believe tradional middlelane heroes are going make comeback in this patch so who's heropool fits better there will take that lane and the other goes to offline. If they can keep their motivation they'll be strong as ever.

Many teams don't have large hero pools and if you ban against all of their strategies even before they start it is a huge advantage.

Btw there's 0 reason for miracle to change lanes, denies and lane pro-efficiency is the most relevant as it has ever been.

Lately more from safelane than midlane. He always want supports to be with him in early game to avoid ganking but also to to help him to gank. Now that safelane is buffed and made a duallane or even trilane it's guaranteed he starts playing almost 100% of games from there.

I mean he changes his hero every game but mostly plays carries not those flashy mid heroes. And like I said, Miracle ALREADY plays more pro games from safelane. He has NOT been mid player for quite some time now. Now that safelane is buffed a lot you guys really think he changes back to his old role? That makes no sense.

I also think it will not change much, really depends on the heroes they play. No need to play oracle dude;)

You realize that many top teams including Liquid pretty much have stopped putting players on rigid lane setups right ?

Now that safelane is buffed a lot you guys really think he changes back to his old role? That makes no sense. You're looking at it way too one dimensional buddy. It completely depends on the heroes and the draft in the respective game. I promise you it won't be as straight forward as saying "Miracle- will play safelane every game now". The games he played safelane were the ones MATU went mid - which was always on heroes like Necro/Brood/Veno/BS And MATUs mid pool is quite limited if we're honest - actually I think that's already the whole extend of MATUs mid pool with those 4. Miracle- still played mid in quite a few matches - e.g. every invo, ember, alch, dk game etc. So unless MATU will now vastly increase his mid pool, I don't see you being right here - at all.... Also he might have just wanted to play something different, because he was bored with the patch? I actually believe they will either keep going with their role swap, or Miracle- will stay mid more now. Especially considering that mid is less farmy now and we might be seeing some more tempo controlling heroes again - which is quite a difference to MATUs hero pool (also Brood nerfed and Necro falling out of favour a bit... there's no heroes left for him to play mid).
