The concern though is that they are still very dependent on fly drafts, which means should he gets lazy and stop his draft preparations, I don't think 9k and execution is enough (ie win by sheer outplay).
I suspect 7ckngMad played a big role in that preparation, wonder if we'll see the coaching role valued higher with other teams after this
Many teams already tried having a coach, problem is many coaches want to play too so is kinda hard to have one for a long time, and having him for a short time has disadvantages too, like players not trusting/listening to him as much as they should.
It would be great if most teams had one, the scene would keep growing.

Well, in the last two series Miracle wasn't as impressive as early on. The teamplay kicked in when it was needed the most.
If it is indeed as you say, then I wouldn't be afraid, I believe he will work even harder for TI. I don't think he is the kind of guy who will understimate the opponents because he won two Majors.
To be fair to miracle they were focusing him mid really hard. 3 mid at all times. It gave space to other lanes and he always recovered well though.
Yeah, that is what happens when teams realize you are worth focusing on. Problem is when you are not the only one worth focusing on.
I just watched MVP vs OG game 2. That is some brutal shit, lol. They make MVP seem like a tier 3 team.
It must be so easy for Fly to draft, since it looks like all of the players on OG can play almost all of the heroes in the game on almost any position.
Most pros probably could do that BUT most Teams don't have the synergy/shotcalling/knowledge to play strat XYZ to counter their opponents as hard as OG did and fall back into "habits". I mean, most of OG's wins, from what i remember, were just pure domination.
Also weird was Liquids drafting in game 3. They just lost game 2 and then proceed to pick the basically same stuff again and, surprise, lose again... No idea what Kuro tought when Drafting in game 3 ^^.

Nah. Moon plays all the usual offlane heroes. Fly and cr1t too at their respective positions (no Ench/Chen/Enigma though). Notail plays all the standard carry heroes, and can swap to play "easier" mid heroes like DP, DK etc. Miracle's the one with the big pool though, with a wide variety of playstyles. He can go tempo like Mag/Puck, play Invoker, go carry mids like LD/Jugg/SF/TA, or go to safelane and play the #1. It's almost like he is the combined version of RTZ and suma1l.
congrats to OG some superb dota this last week, for me , Miracle is easily the best player on the world stage at the moment, he's the player now that at one point i thought RTZ might become
Interesting. There is not much discussion about the best Dota 2 team right now that won 2 Majors. Maybe because there is not much drama involved. Just real friendship and teamwork.

MVP's style pretty much guarantees us a ride on the roller-coaster express in the Tier Amusement Park. It's always easier to look dominant against aggressive teams like Navi or MVP once it's figured out. OG's dominance is better shown in their games against Newbee and Liquid. Two of the most solid teams in the world and OG still managed to pull ahead in almost every move.

Yeah, I assume the reason coaches go back to playing is there's more incentive to play rather than coach (more fun, potentially more money). Would be interesting to see if DotA2 coaches will mirror regular sports coaching where retired players can make decent money.
As much as I'd like to see Liquid win, I'm somehow not convinced of their TI championship abilities. I think OG are going to pull an Alliance and just crush everyone, hopefully culminating in an exquisite finals between China's top team and the Green Dragons. They really feel like a juggernaut that cannot be stopped, just like Alliance did back then.
