I don't see any changes that can be made to this team to make it much better really
I guess Fear is the kind of player they would need. (who not tbh)

After the drow feed notail was already finished, his morale was on the ground I thought he would cry. If I were coach in TnC i would say them to focus on notail because i think notail loses his attention after lose. Beside mechanical skills psyhological state is as important as gameplay.

A team with 4 fears + 1 captain will win any tournament!

I dont remember being this salty since The Bears lost the Superbowl. Like I finally believed in a team that actually had the players and the strats to go all the way, and then they just get completely outplayed in those two sets.
Like, fuuuuck, give me a fucking break, it's just like being a C9 fan last year.

C9 fans were allways kinda delusional (well, had to be ) :p

Oh not that I'm not impressed as all hell by their performance up to the TI, but they were still favored to win the TI before it began, and then they just get dominated like that.. I dunno. (Sure it has been a blast being an OG fan the past months, they almost always delivered) I would still just have liked to watch them take it all. An almost perfect year for a team.

Competitive dota proving to be dynamic as ever. You got a team like OG who are masters at strategy and preparation. Then teams like MVP and Wings who just pick fuck all drafts and believe in themselves. It shows that theres a balance between the two.
Also that BO3s in the TI are extremely volatile as hell. Like fuck... 2 bad bo3s and were out. Its insane. It just goes to show that winning back to back TIs is the ultimate accomplishment in Dota.

|
I really hope they stick together, I don't see anyone who would be an improvement for their style of play and their dynamic drafting.
|
Og is fine, they really should stay together. Even if u replace someone like notail with a better carry, there is no guaranty that the team would be better. Team chemistry is much more important at this level. Just ask puppey; )

Of course i can understand that. Can you imagine how it felt for a liquid fan, when you are in so many grand finals, and always get 2nd in the end? That is pretty miserable. You want your team to always win, thats just normal. in ogs case, i feel like pressure got to them in the end. being the favourite in every tournament you enter is not a good thing at all. well i really hope for more liquid vs OG grand finals in the future; )

Im slowly recovering from that depressing knockout. Have a nice FnaticEU photo. Only missing Trixi-kun! This photo makes me so happy ='D

I think the pressure just overwhelmed them. Especially Notail, i mean he looked like he had not slept for a week before some games this TI. There is probably nothing much you can or would change in OG. They just did not have a good tournament unfortunately.
|
I really hope they stick together in the future, I don't feel like replacing anyone would make this team work better.

Oh well, it's always hard when you're "the favorite". Still you have to admit that TnC simply played better those 2 games.
Aside from that I can assure everyone that team changes are extremely unlikely. It just goes completely against Fly and Notails (who is a co founder of OG I'd like to remind people, he'd basically have to kick himself) philosophy when it comes to team building. When they were dominating in HoN they were not only the scariest team around, but also the most stable with pretty much zero changes over several years and never any drama whatsoever (imagine that). With Notail being the Flower he is, the BFF relation he has with Tal, Moon living with Tal for months as far as I caught that I have a really hard time seeing any changes. Maybe if Miracle lets the (unreasonable) hype get to him and pulls an Arteezy, but where could he really go to? Not to mention that Secret have already given to perfect demonstration of what happens when you put the ominous "potential" over team chemistry.

Oh I know that feeling as a Bears fan (American football for people who doesn't follow the NFL) but yeah, you always want your favorite team to win, but its hurts just as much every time they lose. But yeah, let's hope they see eachother some more in finals!

This is a very good point Notail and Fly are very loyal Cr1t and Moon will never find a better team than this
So only risk of leaving is Miracle pulling an RTZ, really

In the past years, the TI results of Team's like C9, Fnatic.EU, Alliance etc. was a culmination of a series of disappointing results over the season. This year, teams like OG and Liquid have already shown that they can be the best of the best and barring any Secret-tier internal issues both teams should be moving forward with 1 roster change max
|
I don't really see a need to change. They choked in this one tournament, that's all. Otherwise it's been a fairly successful season for them.
If anyone were to leave though, it could maybe be miracle looking for something fresh. Doubt so though
