From what I remember, ppd talked about that at the stream once, and it was around 2k-3k USD/month. 6 figure salary? I thought the same way for a long time, complexity players for example earn 2kUSD/month and as I remember they need to pay for their teamhouse with the salary too. It s still e-sports, money comes from winning tourneys. But the whole business around e-sports is just not at the level a real business should be. As a manager I would change so much, you can use in the time of new economy to get more money from sponsors. There is not even a real media support of the teams... look we re spamming here at "liquiddota" and I never read someone from liquid. Dota Marketing by the teams is the worst I have ever seen. They dont even use youtube to promote, vlog etc. But subscribers = more money from sponsors, because it s a proven range of people to make productplacements. As a management consultant I just see potential all the way. If the scene starts to be more professional, the salary will increase. But the most "so called managers" are no managers, they re just good connected people in the e-sport scene without any idea how business works, the other side of "managers" are just a mixture of cooks, charwomen and babysitters. I am sure this will change in 5-6 years. | ||

From what I can recall, EE went to Miracle first but Miracle said he needed a week (or so) to "think about it". Then he went to w33 instead of waiting for Miracle to decide and then Miracle joined OG. | ||

First part was answered by others. Second part is easy too. Why would miracle join Notail and Fly last year when they had mediocre results their entire dota career? It's because he saw something in them and believed in the potential of the team. To say that Secret's poor performance over the last half season is a complete disqualifier for Miracle to want to play with Arteezy and Puppey makes no sense. No one knows where Miracle will go but I think the evidence is clearly pointing to him leaving OG. | ||
