I did warn everyone at the start of my post that it is pure speculation on my part so if you think it's not true, that's fine because again I don't have any proof to back it up. I'm just kidding I think most of this is pretty reasonable from what we've seen. But until we get CSI: Dota on the case there's just no knowing anything ever about anything.
Even our eyes can deceive us.

What I'm about to write is pure speculation on my part, it could be spot on and it could be completely off so take it with a grain of salt.
that's the difference between the two of you .. Azimuth is gucchi

Azimuth is gucchi He's wrong though. It's not pure speculation. It's a theory based on evidence. That's how theories are formed. Evidence is never complete. Did I mention I'm a professional analyst? Pretty sure I did at least once. And I'm quite good at it. I'm not a sports analyst so I don't claim expertise in this field, I just look at things differently. So when I talk about the process of coming to conclusions or at least potential theories (you may note how many times I say "I think" which is not a full legal fucking disclaimer but is still a caveat) it's from experience.
The rest of you, I really don't know how you decide anything. It's kinda comical.

So, can we have the speculation thread already?

Just look at their flairs and laugh at the fact that they've been waiting all year to post their bs because they were sick of hearing how good we are. It's a shame that the players underperformed but for the most part the shit talk is coming from everyone but vp and ehome fans, the only ones that deserve to say a word bc they did well to tilt and beat secret. Most shitposts come from people with TS's flair, didn't you read them? nope, all i see is you and FHDH trying to rile people in this thread up quite poorly. e: guys, if you're going to say stuff like "so and so is out" please link your sources? That is what happens when you read the last two pages when this is going for at least five pages. Be smarter and go back to the source of all this, the elimination of Secret. Then you may write some accurate observations.

s4 is highest MMR on Americas right now. Arteezy is second. According to Gosugamers

It was already the case before the main event

I don't think this is something that is going to keep Arteezy, Zai or s4 in the team alone. But probably whatever team Puppey will form will continue to be called Secret. I agree here and I want to add on this. What I'm about to write is pure speculation on my part, it could be spot on and it could be completely off so take it with a grain of salt. I think Secret's problem was the 2 fractions in the team. On one side you have ppy and kuro, both veterans that know each other for a long time and know what they want in game, drafts and outside of the game. On the other side you have Zai and RTZ, 2 very talented guys who are raw and moody in leadership department. And lastly you have S4, the neutral of sorts who doesn't wanna butt in. After a failure at DAC, the young guys stand up to the old guy (ppy) and want change, hence Zai drafts at SL12. With that whole thing being a disaster they decide they need a neutral drafting to keep both sides happy. This is were S4 comes in. He's a very good drafter on his own but him being a neutral guarantees both the veterans and the young guys get their say. Things start to go as planned, they win a lot and everyone's happy. TI comes and while their group stage goes well, it probably wasn't as good as they wanted it to be and probably realize there are some cracks which weren't there in previous months. They go with a somewhat risky early game draft vs EHOME and fail, dismantling the fragile chemistry of the team in the process. This is where things go bad. S4 no longer has supreme confidence in his drafts and neither does his team. We then see RTZ having a lot of words exchanged with Kuro, both probably having different views on what went wrong. All small things but in the big picture they reveal the fractions that are existent in the team and suddenly everyone's doing their own thing. Just like they all did their own thing at Starladder 12. Again, I don't really have any proof but I feel like I'm not completely off on this either.
Sounds about right. Rtz said in his interview that if they weren't winning they would definitely disband because they just don't get along at all. They argue too much and they don't really seem to like each other.

I think the squad - and maybe even the brand itself - is done in its current form.
Seems like Kuroky and Puppey are off to a 'new' team. Maybe even back to Navi if Xboct leaves, I could see a lineup like (1) Kuro (2) Dendi (3) ?? (4) Sonneiko (5) Puppey with Clement obviously as drafter/captain. Maybe the last year of the Navi experience left too sour a taste in their mouth, but Sonneiko is the kind of player that can help you win a TI. However maybe they're looking for a fresh mid player, and don't feel like Dendi has it in him anymore. And of course they might want to stick with the brand they helped build and create, at which point they would just rebuild Secret with Europeans. Who knows though. I saw Kuroky talking a lot with FATA after elimination; could just be that they're both German.
Zai and Arteezy seem to be a package deal. It seems likely that Zai might take off for the first major or two, but I doubt he would leave the scene altogether through TI6. Of course he's frustrated, disappointed, and exhausted, but there is likely going to be over $20 million at stake at TI6 and his player stock right now is really high. I think Arteezy is going to be the most sought after 'free agent' in the West, he can do anything he wants and create a new dream team around him if he has the chops to captain it; I think the last year has proven that he's not comfortable being a follower.
The real question mark is S4. It seems like he is perceived to be the big disappointment at TI5, and whether that's true or not I think his stock fell considerably with his performance on the main stage. Luckily he's a competent captain and drafter, so he'll easily find a place to play on a European squad. It seems like there are a ton of great Scandinavian players, and maybe the time is right for a new Scandinavian/Swedish superteam with members from NiP/4Anchors/etc.
