But the counter-arguments to this have been presented here and are legitimate.
I think stalling would have been better but we only know how one of those options turned out, and even then, individual plays helped determine the result. Secret advantage of stalling 1-2 items on Medusa 1-2 items on a midas Doom 1000+ gold/exp /minute off the map 4 buybacks 1-2 cheeses Arguably the buybacks being the most important. I should say...the advantage of attempting to stall. If they could stall/farm effectively, then yes, advantage them. But it's not clear that would have worked.
Just rewatched the game. At about minute 51, EG wanted to push top for 4 minutes, but couldn't even go high ground. They just stood outside Secret base. Then they gave Secret uncontested Rosh+cheese.
Before Secret threw, Kuro picked up manta style. If EG can't contest Rosh or high ground before manta, they are definitely not doing it after.
Also merlini and LD were both disagreeing with the Secret push
ALso Merlini and LD were saying

Puppey's AMA is easily one of the best, it's really insightful and informative. So Secret fans should go check that out.

Now that's how you should do an AMA. Way more informative than what you usually see (short answers that don't tell you much are kind of a trend, unfortunately).

I draft for the team and ask for positive suggestions. I have 1437 helping me with analysis of my enemy and we debate on our best choices.
We prepare against our enemy, Theeban takes notes, we watch where our enemy places wards and how they move, all information connects to what we want to do against them.
For the ones saying that a coach is only a friend who wants to fly to ukraine and score some ukranian girls with doto money

Really fun answers there! ppy is just great!

Navi EU never. Iirc puppey said it was an organisation new to dota2 (so no liquid) and i dont think its gonna be an east EU brand so it must be XMG! wild guess yes, but they have been doing alot of stuff: began sponsoring homestorycup, they contracted toddler and other sc2 pro's, maybe going dota2 next for a bigger audience could be a logical step. So i say its gonna be XMG dototeam

If a man can have a dream, NiP would also be a good org.

All speculation on my part. Kuroky is german and well known esport personality and i would not be surprised if he knew that german marketeer from xmg esport team that also shows up at the homestorycups. Take in account that xmg has only increased there esport contribution since they are in esports and before you know it, EG is run by illunimati! Seriously, i would not be surprised at all if it was XMG.

XMG could be, they have sponsored SC2 some players in the past (XMGToD)
But, i dont think NaVi is out of the equation, for once Puppey is still part of NaVigation and, 1437 is still "part" of NaVi.US, i doubt ZeroGravity would let 1437 coach Secret if he was still part of the team, especially when NaVi.US was still playing matches
Maybe a complete new brand like Alliance/EG ?
Secret cant be a cheap team

Could be, but GGA alex said that the owner of navi told him that he would not feel comfortable if gga had more then 3 teams. Apparantly the navi owner doesnt like all the teams being owned by 2 major agencies. Maybe a good possibility is that XMG own secret and Navi manages the team (navi as service provider and not an owner).

Alex Garfield owns the brands of EG and Alliance, but he doesn't own the teams as such. They are owned by the GGA (which in turn is lead by Alex - but this means a lot in terms of ownership). XMG has also sponsored EG and Alliance, so they're not new to DotA2.
Additionally - Meepo draft by Puppey, finally.

Meepo core and shifting kuro to #4. Doesn't even feel out of place :D
