Dusa stood no chance. Dusa is very poor hero over all i see why they picked her but nyx countered her so well i just wonder if it isn't gonna become a trend. Good games over all Daddy is just a monster.

I saw a game where he went yasha crit when they were ahead but never when behind. Iirc kuroky normally goes for a yasha into skadi (maybe manta to dispell a silence after) into a crit/mkb/damageitem. When they go for a manaburn heavy lineup then you should deal with that, there are numerous ways. Normally manaburn has alot less impact during lategame. EG did whatever they could do, but it was kuroky that throwed the game, not EG playing brilliantly. Still a deserved starladdervictory for EG.

Still a deserved starladdervictory for EG. everything was even up until they were baiting EG at the mid lane. S4 Panda was baiting and all his teammates are smoked behind him but EG was able to read them perfectly. unless there was a ward there , i dont think EG saw all the smoked heroes behind S4 before they initiated with ravage. that only means that they knew Secret was just baiting. if EG initiated with anything but Ravage, they couldve lost that clash. so even without seeing the smoked heroes, Universe blinked and ravage without hesitation and all the follow ups from EG. good thing Notail was near enough that he was hit by the ravage, no counter initiation. and who's not playing brilliantly? the game was no way a throw what are you saying? capitalizing on your opponents mistake or outplaying them is part of it. being outplayed is not throwing.

I stated that i believe that his itembuild up could be considered one of the main reasons why they lost. EG played better and are the deserved chamions of starladder. But that doesnt mean that EG played brilliant in that game, just that secret was worse. I believe the itembuildup from kuroky had a large impact on the outcome of the game and the final fight was a conclusion of a bad game from secret in general. It doesnt matter anyways, 2nd lan and secret reached the final, thats pretty impressive.

After that the necros + nyx completely made her irrelevant, all up to the end where she was able to barely stay alive in fights but got completely kited around. You might not like it and think the play/pick wasn't brilliant that is fine but the facts speak otherwise. Regardless the game was very close even and fun to watch.

I'm not really sure if it's good or bad, that In these bracket systems the UB-winner only plays the grand final. Being "warm" against a little exhausted or not...

Even after that engagement the game was fine, the part where Secret lost is when S4 decided to feed and Fly followed him after they sneaked rosh even tho they knew that EG was close With no buybacks on 2 cores there was no chance to defend base as soon as ravage+refresher was up again, so they went all-in. € Overall the series went as I expected before the matches, EG played really well and deserved the win. Next time is gonna be a lot closer tho!

Were they trying to outcarry? Against a pushing lineup? Why would a Jakiro (first ban phase) be more dangerous then a Lycan?
