I don't think he was bad with the team and he certainly improved so much as an offlane. I hope this lineup with misery works well like Fata with C9 and EGM with alliance(when envy got kicked). | ||

Now they add misery and this guy has a lot more individual skill, Fly feels just so mediocre in that regard. They have a lot more potential now. Ofc there is always a risk that its not working out as expected, but they did not win any Tournament until now and Fly wont evolve into a whole new player. Misery plays Dota since forever he knows his stuff and with a competent team around him for the first time, he will get hungry for championships again. | ||

They want to make it difficult for enemies, where a player is laning and which player is playing which hero! ppy is support, but maybe they play Lycon more...  kky is well known to be a great 5 and his carry is great too! n0tail seems to be good at anything.. s4 can go mid or safelane and probably learn more for offlane and Misery... I actually don't know him that well but sounds that he can go offlane or in support roles too! | ||

Teamliquid did it when they were formed, Teamtinker did it more recently and you saw where that leads. You can't be consistent enough when you keep changing your team dynamic from one game to the other. Sure, it may be done sometimes when the stakes aren't that high, but in TI and other high caliber tournaments, the players who keep switching around will simply not have the same experience in one role as those dedicated to it. And even if they were just as good, the simple fact that no two players are the same the whole team has to adjust to different playstyles depending on who plays what role. This all leads to more chances of mistakes and inconsistency in your game. | ||

The problem with Tinker is that none of them have properly defined roles. They don't know what they're supposed to be accomplishing because every single game they completely switch it up without any consistency whatsoever. The concrete roles just aren't there, and so people get mixed up and don't know who has farm priority over who because everyone defaults to farming since that's essentially one of the only constants between every role except maybe hard support. That's why we end up with games where SingSing is completely sacked, Bulba and EGM never buy any wards and are constantly out of position, and the only person who really knows what they're doing and has any farm priority whatsoever is qojqva who more often than not is playing a hero that can't carry 1v5 anyways. If Secret can properly define the roles of everyone on the team first, then switching it up shouldn't be that much of a problem because they should theoretically be able to understand each of the roles they're in since they took the time to study up and understand what everyone's job in the team is. Not that I really believe they're going to do that, though. They don't really strike me as the type to switch things up unless it's necessary. | ||

They're also losing right now. VP is a really good team now though. Idk Lajons but hey everybody loses. Also it's normal for the the top team(arguably since EG exist in the west) to drop games. There is no top team ever that never dropped a single game against someone even if they are an inferior comptetitor. That's just impossible to achieve at some point you are gonna lose games or even a series but that doesn't remove your credibility as the top team of the scene. Unless the top team are losing constantly losing to weaker teams and are getting bad results compared to the inferior team then obviously they are probably not the top team anymore. Means they slumped or got figured out or something. | ||

The lions game in particular came 15 minutes after they had finished an epic 4 game series with VP. | ||
