And it snowballs quite quickly. Not saying secret wasn't better during todays games, but it wasn't as far away as I would've thought.

But I wouldn't say that Pajkatt is worse than S4, at least not to the extent where I would give Secret a significant advantage (like with zai and niqua).

Secret should have won game 1, then alliance should have won it, so there were definitely throws on both sides. I felt game 2 was more of a draft loss from alliance. When you play a team as good as secret, its hard to leave yourself margin for error in-lane so small and expect to win. One thing people should really notice about alliance's games vs secret isn't so much that they lost, but how they lost. The games were indeed pretty close, but they lost because secret was able to force alliance to play a pretty standard 1 carry game. If you go and watch all of the games alliance has played since "coming back" you'll notice that in almost much every game, Pajkatt and Loda are playing dual carry's effectively - arguably the best of anyone in the west at the moment. A lot of times these aren't true "hard" carries, their most common draft involves loda on slardar + pajkatt on sniper/windranger/something. Secret basically destroyed pajkatt in both games yesterday, constantly ganking and killing him as lina and shutting down the farm on his storm enough that he could never really control the tempo, setup relocate ganks or get solo kills on supports. This basically left loda as the sole carry in the game. It wasn't until loda got huge in game 1 that pajkatt was able to really contribute and make plays happen. Unfortunately, one bad engagement in the rosh pit cost them game 1 and loda simply wasn't able to hold against secret by himself in game 2. I don't think all is lost for alliance. I really like the composition of the team now, they just need to keep practicing and refining their play. Niqua in particular really needs to prove whether he can play a dominating mid-game carry instead of just a tempo controller from the offlane. If he is able to, it will really help pajkatt and loda in-case one of them gets shut down hard in the laning stage.

Ps. Great post sang! Good insight there. Niqua remains a bit of a mystery to me. He has his heroes (Phoenix, Spirit Breaker and Magnus come to mind) but some of the heroes he's put on he can't deliver with. At least not right now.

They have a good games VS secret, but it seems they need to work on that weekness. They did better agains Navi with same bans... Still I think they need to work on more different strats. I agree, see my previous post on this page. In addition to the two games versus Secret, look at the two games vs Cloud 9 in The Summit. In game 1 they had Loda on his PA and Pajkatt on QoP and they got dominated 8 and 10 deaths respectively. Loda didn't even have a Battlefury by the end of the game and Pajkatt was forced to go BKB + Euls. Now some of that was due to Chen getting zoned by BH, but you see the theme. Game 2 was better, but Alliance put the initiators on Niqua and 7Mad while leaving Loda to play a relatively fragile Silencer and Pajkatt to play Troll Warlord. Ultimately as you said, I think they need to figure out how to better play their dual core with Loda taking the hard carry and Pajkatt playing the initiating carry similar to how Loda plays Slardar. This means more QoP, Storm, etc for Pajkatt.
