No Clue what alliance/nip are gonna do, but i expect a disband, or at least 2-3 new players. Actually I'm sure beans will go on. With some changes. They just formed. Unlike Cresendo and nip-A. Sure beans was mediocre, but it was expected.

His stint as solo middle for eg really surprised me with his skill. It's sad cuz we're talking about a stable #1, and my opinion was that loda was actually one of the most stable carries who you could rely to perform his role then. Not sure how much influence he has over drafting etc, but I'd like to think his ego plays a big part in his recent teams failing. Also lolol at NIP. Before that qualifiers I had the impression that they thought they were good enough. But it's pretty obvious they ain't worthy of representing the organisation. I didn't compare, only made an example of fear, he wouldn't make A explode in results because he replaced era. That's my point. He needs good folks around him, like any t1 team. I'm saying loda can be that carry. He's not now tho, that's clear. Hence my statement of potential. Can't see why this is a discussion, all I said was out of the 3, beans has most potential, and fucking YES, even when including loda.

You just gotta work on your mechanics, play games with the everchanging patches. The 3 guys that are extremely relevant from old school are Burning, S4 and N0tail all of which are near the 8K mark and play a lot. Loda doesn't and unless that changes this is game over for him Exactly. Notail is 23. Loda was born in the scottish highlands 400 years ago. And S4 actually passed the 9k mmr mark a while ago (no idea what he is at now). At least Bulldog is being honest/obvious about milking his Ti3 fame, the rest of Alliance are just as washed up as Loda. Fact is in your mid to late twenties it's not as easy to just blast through 16 hours of dota every day (not because you can't, but because you want more from life than that). But the kids have no problem doing just that and it takes some exceptional dedication or genius (see Fear/Burning) to keep up with that/make up for that. Just think about it this way: what T1 team would actually want any of them (not counting S4 obviously) on their rooster for their current skill? Teams are picking up kids and pub stars but old Alliance? They've been tier2 (or worse) for so long it almost seems like they spent all they had in the Ti3 finals.

I am sure this alliance-nip squad will not perform.. only limp is decent. Alliance needs to refresh their team and make a classical EU squad. The swedish idea is not working out, the good ones are already in international teams like s4, pie and zai. Its a strong brand with good sponsoring - I hope they can catch up with a new squad and let those nip guys go.

He'd 100% be on a Tier1 team and be a TOP10 offlaner easily if he switched stream to serious practice. Problem is why be TOP10 and get into all the trouble with unstable teams and lifestyle. When you're the best in the world at something with a steady solid stream of income

Hoping Loda will start rebuilding Alliance next season with miCke, insania and other new young pubstars. That or the 3rd reunion if our boy s4 wins his 2nd TI <3.

If the draft fails or the team can't secure farm, then the carry can't shine at all. It's easy to blame the carry for not delivering but most times you have to look at the circumstances. Imo Loda should be able to own if he gets free farm on his signature heroes. The current [A] iteration just didn't enable him. We all know that [A] drafts are far away from good and their current captain needs some improvements. I also don't know why NiP tries so hard to reunion when they failed last year. The competition only gets harder and if it didn't workout in the past then why should it now (riding a dead horse)? I hope that [A] take out their head from the sand and go international. Speaking English shouldn't be the problem in 2017. This all Swedish squad was a nice idea but I also think that this won't work out.

Good compared to all players playing dota - yea sure. Good enough for a tier 1 dota team, no - never. He can be a tier 2 core with a good drafter behind. I still hope they snipe tier 1 players and make them work. Go for forev offlane, abed mid and build the rest around them. They re on a sinking boat that will get bulba'ed The biggest challenge these days is finding the good captain.

Well if you have a midone/miracle/QO type of player in your team, then you just need you carry to do MP/notail things to enable the mid player to shine. Loda can be that kind of carry. He arguably used to perform that role for Alliance, playing whatever carry hero that complements the team's overall strategy, and doing so with stability.

But indeed Alliance is in somewhat of a NaVi situation, they need to find a new guy who can pull the team together strategically. NaVi only has had Artstyle after Puppey left, and Alliance has struggled pretty heavily without s4. You never know what happens after TI and who is going to be making new teams so hard to say who'll be available. But the NiP core doesn't seem like it has that much promise

You can compare loda to a notail style of player, but still a tier 2 or tier 3 version of notail. Loda in teamfights is awful to watch. Go to 0.5 speed and watch em play the core position.. its a huge gap to someone like notail. The swedish community got no captain without s4. he was a great captain, but I still think successful teams have captains in a 5th position, 4th does not even work for me, thats why miserys team still lacks a lot, cause he takes this pos away from a talent like saksa.

A much better performance then TI qual which was really painful to watch. I do hope they win the grand final and should have a good chance doing so Hope they keep the Alliance name relevant in the scene , i cant bring my self to watch them play ![]()
