First issue is that Loda is both a player and major stakeholder in alliance. Hence there is a conflict of interest. Essentially meaning that he is “irremovable” from the lineup. He can play shit dota and he will still play. Second issue is that Loda has not been a tier 1 player for many years. That would probably be okay if he played another position, a bit like ppd or Synderen. But since Loda insists on playing position 1 this becomes a critical issue for several reasons. First of course there is the direct impact, i.e. if Alliance goes up against top teams (e.g. OG, Liquid, Newbee, EG, VP) they will have a worse carry than any of those, so whatever strategy they use will have to overcome that disadvantage. The even bigger issue is that the old alliance players will not come back. So for alliance to become a tier 1 team again they need to attract new tier 1 players, presumably after TI. Let say Jerax or Midone is searching for a team. The issue here is that they are much better players than Loda, and they recognize that. So why would top players join a team where the carry is a much worse player than they are? The simple answer is that they won’t. Thus the problem with alliance is a systematic one. I for one will not watch another game of Alliance until Loda is off the team. If Loda still has the skill to be on a tier 1 level then he should leave Alliance and join another top team were he doesn’t have a conflict of interest. | ||

Well, the problem with Loda is that he's lazy. He doesn't play solo mmr at all, and at this level is inexcusable. Even more if you consider that he's not even young, he's 30 and he desperately needs to keep playing solo ranked if he wants to stay relevant in an ultra competitive game where young players play 12 hours non stop to improve themselves. His laziness in playing so few solo games is brutally showing now (no, scrims and party games are just NOT enough and every other pro knows that)... add to that that the NIP trio (except Limmp) is bad, Jonass and Handsken are just mediocre players at best. Pablo may be a good talent but come on, what can he change? Absolutely nothing. Loda should stop to think the problem is always somewhere else, and start to think that if he wants to stay relevant in this game, he has to tryhard, but really HARD. This, or just take a step back into a coaching position, or just bury the hatchet (may be should've done after s4, Bulldog and Akke left...) and let Alliance rest with good memories. As of now, sad to say, but he's ruining the legacy, i wish Alliance could have a better ending and not this shitshow. My last hope is a miracle after the TI qualifiers.. but i think i'm sad as much as after the disband last year  .Will we see a light at the bottom of the tunnel? Please stop making fun of us, we don't deserve this. | ||

Guess he doesn't have it in him to grind it into 9k mmr again with girlfriend being old, comfort zone ...He's not dedicated like e.g. Burning nor has the creativity and adaptability of N0tail. On the other hand...be honest guys do you really want alliance to stop playing ? I sure enjoy watching games more when a brand like this plays | ||

Loda just doesn't have the pull that other dota Gods have like Puppey, Burning, S4, and Xiao8 have. He is a TI winner, but honestly unless he can captain a team to decent results he will just be washed up. | ||
