The difference is that the top teams just ignore online leagues to practice instead since that is a better ROI. Which is a bit sad for people that follow top teams. :/ Good for people following tier 2 teams since they can make enough money to go full time. | ||

But there are some periods in the calendar when the gap between LANs is a bit long. I wouldn't mind if there was some event that had all the teams playing online too, just as long as it's not every tournament so the top teams don't end up playing each other all the time. Also another thing is that with single elimination formats and such we don't see the teams even play that many games at some LANs. That's my main gripe really with 8 team single elims, we have half the teams invited so we don't see them play online either and then they play 1-3 series at the LAN. Ideally for me as a viewer from home LANs are 3-4 days with some sort of group stage followed by playoffs. | ||
