Agreed such a bad call , but hey in TI3 Navi made a dumb call that won them the game , so you cant alway be on the "smart" side , too bad they went for it , they had the game won , also they shouldve used Zeus more i feel S4 is a killer with it. | ||

They didn't need damage (qop or zeus), but needed tempo control. But it feels like such a lackluster early midgame when they have spectre and a jungle dark seer. I dunno... | ||

I love that S4 is such a great tempo controller, but I feel it is a weakness that he is unable to play the OP meta mids like Invoker, OD and DP. It makes it easier to ban against A, especially since Bulldog's hero is often picked during the first phase (Bulldog being the only other player on A that gets a lot of targeted bans excluding Akke's Chen and Ench). But I still enjoyed this tournament! Thanks for the show, boys Alliance will be back! | ||

I think the bigger problem throughout the major was how weak Alliance's lanes were and their early game play overall. Akke is very good on Chen and Enchantress, but they pretty much asked him to carry their early laning stage by himself numerous times. A lot of the early aggression and strong lanes we saw in Captain's Draft and Starladder just didn't happen in Shanghai. Their entire early game rotations and movement just felt very off during the main event. Additionally, in that series against Complexity, they seemed to forget how to play against Whisp. That blunder in Game 3 where coL bought back on OD and relocated back into the rosh pit once Whisp respawned was extremely sloppy and a greedy call for them to try to sneak in. Alliance has done that exact move countless times to other teams, I was shocked they tried to go for it, especially when the game was almost back to even at that point. | ||
