bone7 can have great games, but the amount of games he feeds and plays bad in is much higher right now, unfortunately...

Well, Misery could play Offlane but then they'd be missing one support... anyway, I don't know if there's someone available for one of these roles atm who's good enough...

After today top8 is looking quite possible for c9. It is pretty likely that c9 can go even 1-2 tomorrow, as long as their win is against LGD. If they lose to LGD, then beating iG and EG is enough for top8 if LGD loses to HGT. But the most likely thing to happen is probably that everything will come down to that LGD game which will be played last tomorrow.

Unfortunately for c9 they don't have the head-to-head on BG, NaVi or HR so even if they go 3-0 tomorrow it may be hard to jump several places. But I suppose it's pointless to speculate with the different scenarios, if they manage to make it to the winner bracket the first round opponent will be tough anyway, be it Secret, VG or EG.

But on the positive side for c9 they have managed to come back after that disastrous day 2. That game against Newbee was extremely important to win, and they managed to bring it back after a very unfortunate start. Courier getting killed, n0tail stacking camps with Chen, not getting the appropriate creep to clear it, then getting cliffed by Rubick, SF getting the haste and stealing the 3 or 4 stack. Granted Newbee is not performing well, but still that was a game where they could have just crumbled after the start (which was so bad in large part due to just bad luck), making a top8 spot more difficult to get for the final day.

Watching that Misery interview, it seems to me that the team is doing fine and are not all that bummed out due to that day 2 disaster and understand what went wrong. The tournament is long and there are a few days between the group stage and the main event, so c9 as well has time to go over things and improve as the tournament progresses.

It seems like Cloud 9 isn't really disappointed by their performance so lets hope the don't tilt on the final day of the group stage.

I think they're reserving that because we haven't had an offical press release or whatever about the new rosters.

bone7 is playing like a god right now on his Clockwerk. Hopefully gonna be able to keep this performance over the day, they'll have a good chance to finish top 8 then.

EDIT: Okay, now he overcommits...

That might have been their best game yet in this tournament, simply because it was against a strong opponent (on paper). Bone7 had an awesome early game, they took the towers as fast as they had to and that extremely smart move by EE when they took the top rax was just... wow.

In the same post you expect them to beat EG, and yet you're happy they beat Newbee. Newbee was easy as fuck to beat in that tournament, and EG is way superior to C9.

C9 really needs a carry able to do something else then farming. I hope BDN and Misery find a better home for their amazing plays
