The weird thing is that, if he were autistic, making fun of him about it would be fucked up. If he's not autistic (and he's clearly not) then using "autistic" as an insult is equally fucked up. The very people who are insulting his lack of social grace are displaying far worse social grace than he ever has. Of course, internet and everything, so who cares?, and I doubt Envy gives a fuck, but it's sad to hear mental disorders used as an insult in 2014. | ||

I hate people hiding behind the argument "I meant something different from what it normally means, so it's okay (ex: 'gay')." Why do you feel the need to use that word then? Just use language that actually describes the situation instead of using derogatory slang as a substitute. Have empathy for other people instead of leaving all the onus on them to "deal with it." | ||
