The real question is - Christmas Dinner: Turkey or Ham?
Answer: Neither, we are American Swedes and eat cured fish, hardtack and Akvavit.
American Italian reporting in with lots of baked ziti and Italian meats. no ham tho like some of us have.

My cousins have some god-forsaken Icelandic version of the ridiculously vile "preserved" fish delicacy around this time of year. It's literally unbelievable.

My mommy usually makes the family some delicious Ribroast
its delicious

There most likely isn't, and the rock is most likely just a dumb rock through and through, but that won't stop me from trying to get inside and checking just to make sure. I'll do my best to make a responsible, intelligent, and pragmatic man of you, Plansix.
My take away from this is that harodihg wants to get inside Plansix. Alright then.

I think we'll be ok as long as we don't mention the-game-that-shall-not-be-named. But then again I'm feeling quite optimistic today.
And who eats ham on Christmas Day? o_o
Kelly Bronze turkeys. Yes, we're fancy in my house.

It's definitely not hakarl. Hakarl is the worst thing in the world.

You eat that in August. During xmas it's just a lot of ham, potato, meatballs, sausage, salmon and herring mainly together with a lot of other smaller stuff.

All I know is that Turkey sucks and my family usually cooks one for christmas.

Turkey isn't that bad cmon. At least, the stuffing is really good even if it's not technically turkey you need a turkey to have proper stuffing.
That said, leftover turkey is awful, and turkey soup is the worst.

We use Turkey stock to make risotto. Much better use of it than soup.

Last time I had Turkey I think I was in Grade 7? I hate the smell when it's being cooked as well.
But I have major issues with eating so don't mind me.

But I don't like it. How am I missing out? Missing out would be if I never got the chance to try it and decide if I liked it.

Our dinner is based "Swedish food" on what my great grandmother could get back in the 1920s in the US.
Also, I have seen the rotting fish can and it is as terrible and horrifying as you would expect. That shit could clear a room in under a minute.
