Definitely someone that I will struggle as a co-worker. is it cause u deserve to be called out all the time Oh wow you guys do I have to do this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logical_fallacies
Look at you trying to act all high and mighty when you've committed logical fallacies yourself.
I mean I get it, I do. If you were in EE's position you would talk just like him. People who have grown up in the real world would not. Big old shrug.
Good job dismissing the validity of people's opinions because they have not "grown up in the real world" according to you.

The only thing I don't like is how the interview ends right before EE gets going about 'shady' dealings lol. He speaks truth to power man, he is for Free right Dota and tells like it is. HE IS REAL. I mean he calls all the pub players he plays with bad, which is true. But then again its sort of like a line backer saying "I can beat you up". Like no kidding, your 350 and can run wind sprints for like an hour.
Humility is a virtue, EE could use a little injection of it.

Lol, how did you want me to respond to someone saying I want EE to show some maturity so he can be boring like me? "Well you raise a good point sir, but let me counter you with this!"
Can't argue with that; you can either ignore it or toss it around.

As a self-proclaimed EE-hater, there's nothing controversial at all with anything in that interview. It's a shame. He'd probably be one of my favorite players if it wasn't for his fan base being the most obnoxious in all of Dota.
People need to stop putting him on a pedestal, both fans and haters alike. Once you realize that, he's just a kid trying to be the best Dota player and anything he says just isn't that big of a deal.

Recognizing social ineptitude is in no way caused by being socially inept yourself. Cute though? uhhhh lmao I didn't identify his 'social ineptitude' through his ability to recognize it. I said he may have a low eq if he is unable to accept and understand people that are also outside social norms. really funny how you link a logical fallacy wiki page a couple posts later when you're utterly incompetent at participating in logical discussions yourself No, let me guide you through this: He says basically that EE is socially inept, and that he would find someone like him difficult to work with. You start off with the projection that it must be him with the social ineptitude! Ha ha got you! When it is in fact totally normal for normally socialized individuals to have difficulties with people who are themselves not normally socialized. That is what makes the lack of social aptitude difficult. If normative behavior was meaningless, it would basically cease to exist as a concept. Further on, with this post, you project onto me an inability to engage in a critical argument. Both of these are cases of ad hominem, as was the case with the poster I quoted. "Lol maybe it is YOU who are the one with the problems you describe, as I can deduce from some random and meaningless point. Good day sir!" Ridiculous. rofl what in the world
first, it's not a projection, it's a logical deduction. projection would imply that I'm also socially inept, and instead of accepting these problems I assume that he is guilty of it as well. don't think I was projecting anything and you may want to look up what 'projecting' means since you're so fond of using it.
and 'normally socialized individuals' should have no issue dealing with outliers. 'normal people' may recognize others as outliers and change their own perspective in order to better deal with them, but deeming outliers outright intolerable probably indicates that the person himself may be imbalanced - whether it be a lack of understanding, empathy, or self-control.
your responses don't even address the issue and instead you arbitrarily say my points are random and meaningless without a logical discussion or proof, idk how you think you're not guilty of fallacies yourself.

The funny thing is FDHD is trying to lecture us on social ineptitude when he himself can't stop himself from e-raging every chance he gets on EE.
Team EE beats navi? Immediate whine fest about how bad EE is. EE gives interview? Whines more.
You don't even realize yourself how obnoxious you are and you lecturing us on the topic?
In the real world, whiners like yourself get laughed at and ignored. Get a gripe.

jesus, isn't EE meant to be a smart person? he really needs some PR/language training. without dismissing anything he said, he could have gone about it so much differently, especially the secret team part that came out to be "lol, they noob, we rekt them". he could have phrased that so much better without losing his point.

i dont even like eternal envy, ( i am a bit of hater) but this thread is just ridiculous, this place is becoming worse than reddit every day and thats saying a lot

Get a gripe. 1) Not trying to lecture you about anything. 2) Re-read the thread if you are really that clueless about what I was responding to. It was not the loss. Na'Vi's been losing a lot this year, I am used to it. 3) lol internet trolls "You are raging!" Don't you wish 4) Andrau: nice try but amazingly clueless.

Good interview, different personality so a different perspective.
Did he unintentionally call out his team sponsor with the pay out thing? Interviewer brings up the point that it's on the team organization if the tourney paid it to the team and it seems like he misunderstands...

It's pretty safe to say that anyone that thinks EE's interview is controversial/offensive does not possess a properly functional brain.

i feel the same way about chinese pubs in my games... they just know what to do

The one person in this thread calling everyone else socially inept, by a) responding to every single post, b) ending every post with a petty insult, and c) posting wikipedia links to prove how smart he is, is too funny.

What about all the retirements?
I really don't like how xiao8 retired. Like when you're the best I think you play a little bit more, like go for a 2nd TI.
You want to beat him?
Yeah, exactly. You want to look forward to playing against Newbee. Like if we beat Newbee in this tournament, people are going to blame Rabbit or something. It's not going to be as fun, you just win and leave. It's like as kids you play a game but you don't tell them how many rounds it is, and after you win you just leave.
I'm pretty sure Xiao8 doesn't care about staying in competitive scene for another year to give Envy a chance to beat him when he's got a wife and ambitions to build up China's amateur scene. Sorry EE, you had your chance last year first against LGD and second against Newbee and you missed both chances.

What is the minimap config setting he is talking about?
Are there any good config tutorials for players that don't know about config settings etc?

Are there any good config tutorials for players that don't know about config settings etc? I know there is one at Na'Vi's website that goes over that specific setting. Basically you can set it so there is a delay, preventing you from accidentally clicking the minimap and running the wrong way. I haven't used that setting but I can definitely see why one would.
There may be better guides out there but this should be enough to get you started.
http://twop.navi-gaming.com/en/dota_2/gameplay/Console_commands
dota_minimap_misclick_time "0.2" - Minimum time after the mouse enters the minimap before we accept a move command. Used to prevent misclicks.
