Even though he is quite successful in dota2, the rewards are still not worth it considering the risks he took. So why did he do it? Because he loves the game. Xiao8 on the other hand was never sacrificing anything to play the game, his income is still far far higher than the average chinese of his age, even without winning TI4. Why did he quit then? Because he lost his love for the game. With monetary needs satisfied, there is nothing left. Nothing wrong from an outsider's perspective, but for EE, he has the right to dislike Xiao8. Also, for the people complaining about EE being too honest, have you people been tortured by PR drivel for so long that you obtained stockholm syndrome? Dota hasn't been corrupted by PR yet, if you want PR responses everywhere please go back to wherever you came from.

its so hilarious how hypocritical the majority of society is. you guys treat honest arrogance worst than the previous negative stigma's attributed to gays, and racists. we're all for free speech and acceptance right? anyone who can dislike a person for being honest seriously needs to get their head checked. you have more underlining issues and double-standards than the person you're criticizing. it's the sheep who want to keep everyone in line, to conform to a norm, those who are outspoken and different must be crucified. it's more of a reflection of your lopsided disgusting mentality than it is the person you're criticizing. i don't care if i'm muted, or banned, as long as i speak the truth. The only thing that might have been better left unsaid was EE's explanation of why FATA was better than sing, out of courtesy to sing sing. I honestly have no idea how someone could get offended at any of the other answers. it's HIS OPINION, why would you get offended? we all have our own opinions on who is better than who. i'd rather hear his judgment than a guy willing to repress his voice due to losing approval from society. yeah walk on egg shells your whole life, in fear of disapproval from the opinion of the masses.

I never said I was offended. in fact I enjoyed reading the interview and all of his answers.

Alex Garfield directly has to deal with the sponsors and is held to a different standard than any player. Not to mention the entire interview with him was HotBid trying to get him to say something. Which is also why he always refuses to do interviews.

Maybe better analogy would be almost every Korean sc2 player except mc and his gang.
