Combined with bottle, Zeus doesn't have much trouble with the hp loss he gets. Zeus ideally should never be in a situation where he's getting smacked around, and if he is, he'll die with or without soul ring. | ||

Granted Zeus is his signature hero, but Merlini actually goes Soul Ring and shows it can be used to great effect. The regen from Soul Ring combined with Bottle usage kept his Zeus pretty much at high hp all the time despite constant Soul Ring uses. This works funnily enough because of Zeus's small health pool-- it gets filled pretty fast with a little regen. Merlini says positioning is one of the most important things for Zeus, yet he plays with brown boots for nearly the entire match. This is why I said in my earlier post that I like to go Tranquils before BoTs. You get to walk fast for cheap, have some more armor, and you won't be relying on the regen but it's a nice bonus for whenever it's on.
