A1, finding the 2 beacons to place on the pedestals. The one with the long horizontal path is Warrior's Rest.

I can vouch this as super easy and fast, it's often how I kill time at work 
I just beat D last night with my WD so I figure it's time to move from act 1/2 farming to act 3 as I can easily clear whatever with my mf+dps gear (~320mf with follower, no stacks).
edit - do you just do the keeps? clear it all then repeat?

I can't do cyd/azmo (spiderlings rape me) so I do siegebreaker. Start with siegebreaker quest, clear the keep depths 1/2/3, the ballista/trebuchet area, icefall caverns (no caverns of frost that place sucks), rakkis crossing, siegebreaker and the arreat crater lvl 1. Might as well maximize your 5-stack valor.

Actually i would say act3 best for hunting. I just got 3 legendarys in 5hrs or so...one night of farming. I am very happy
too bad Warmonger/IK gloves are both weak rolls. Manticore is pretty nice tho

Well, you just got lucky.
Of course Act 3 is best for farming if you are capable of doing it (1. Azmodan/Cydea runs 2. Siegebreaker runs), but you shouldn't be raising people dreams about getting easy legendaries there
I have been farming Act 3 a lot (Azmodan/Cydea runs) and didn't get a single legendary. Maybe I'm just unlucky, because of 260 hours spent playing Diablo 3 I only had one legendary drop.

About how much MF do you need to start getting legendaries? not a ton but maybe once every 3 days or something.

Learn the expression people... there is no magic (ehehe) magic find cap at which you suddenly start getting legendaries. Before patch I've gotten about 12 legendaries since May. Been playing loads with MORE mf than before since patch, and haven't found one.
MF gear helps, but you can get 10 legendaries in one day, in act1 with 0% mf one day, and then next day you don't find a single one in A3 with 350% MF.

Yeah, sold all my gold and gear pre Patch. Got 2.50€/Million muhahaha. I will have to wait until Paragon 50 till I will find a legendary. Gear with Str/Vit/AR AND MF is just not affordable and it will drop in price when people get higher in paragon levels so no great resell-value.
