lack of sockets and +disc or +hatred hurt its maximum value but you could still probably get a couple mill off it due to the high dex roll and decent ares

-115 dexterity
-6% attack speed (post nerf)
-30 resist something (cold, idk)

Sold it for 3mil flat. Did i rip myself off or is that..somewhat okay?

You could have made 1-2 mil more, probably. Not too bad though. I scan AH alot for underpriced items, would not have bought that for 3 mil.

You can get a much better Ouroboros for the same price. You would trade 4% crit for that IAS, but you'd have at least 80 more dex, 100 more loh, and bonus min/max damage on the Ouroboros. I think you sold it for more than it's worth.

Edit: Either gold has gone way down in value since I got my Ouroboros or I got away with highway robbery. Either way, 3m sounds fine to me, especially with IAS being out of style.

Hey, I've been trying to figure out what makes a valuable shield for meching purposes, but the pricing is incredibly chaotic.

Anyone here understand the shield market? It looks like 65+allres is a standard, but other than that what effects value?

What would a

-decent (400-800k)
-good (1-3mil)
-GG (6-8mil)

shield look like? What are the money stats?

Like I know quivers, you pay increasingly more for total dex over 170 and AS over 12-13, crit chance being the big money stat, with vit/discipline/hatred regen adding a bit of value. There really arent barely any quivers worth more than 2-3mil. Shields seem to have more potential.

Sorry for the bump, but could really use some input. AIS has been nerfed to 5% (50% what?), but it is still pretty good IMO. Not sure the high AH price I found is actually warranted though.

Block value at least 2700-3700, better 3700-4700. High Block chance (20% and higher). Armor ar least 900 i'd say. The more the better of course.
Vita is always Good as well as Str for barbs or dex for monks. An Ideal monk Shield also has a High Single resist for owe. Crit chance is decent but only as an added bonus. For reference the Shield i posted a few Pages back ( dex Vita all resi High Block Chance max Block value ) Sold for 10 Mill.
