I was contemplating how to make this type of thing effective in the long term since, as you mentioned, this thread is mostly people wanting advice and very few are willing or able to give it. I still haven't come up with the best solution but I was thinking of forming a group of TLers who have proven knowledge about the AH and are up to date with current pricing and having them help people out. I would also try to encourage small gold 'tips' to give an incentive to all the appraisers to do good work and make it worth their time and this would help sellers attract attention for their item. If we got enough solid appraisers we could even have people specialize in a certain market - for instance rings/ammys or 1 handed weapons, or uniques/sets etc. I'm still trying to figure out how to make this all worth and be helpful and beneficial to everyone.
I like the idea of a tip system. For a system like that to work, we would need to have like you said a small group of appraisers. My only concern is that people will give price checks blindly just to rake in tip money. I am sure we cam create a refined system tomorrow when I have a computer. Thanks for supporting my initiative.

I can't confirm that it does, but why wouldn't it? The tooltip of Poison Darts says it does weapon damage as poison.
I assume the original equivalent I saw on the AH was way overprices at 28M, but I am hoping to net some 15M. Would that be reasonable?

In the patch thread I read some talk about y% to X-type damage actually increasing your damage by y%; and since enemy elemental specific resistances have been removed afaik the damage type doesn't really matter. I do think this is a bug though, simply because of how it's stated on the item. I'd try to sell it for max gold/money (60 mill/200 eur ish) before blizz fixes it.

You can make about 8-10 $ per million if you buy items on the gold AH and resell them for the right price, but you can get 4-6$ if you sell it through paypal or whatever to independent buyers.

This would sell for MAYBE 5 mil at most, simply because of the dual crit stats, socket, and damage. The str and dex are basically useless, and the damage to elites no one will notice

It is one of the highest dps 1-handers on the ah with at least 100 int and some vit. I am thinking at least 10 million, but I'd like to get a better idea if it is worth significantly more or less.

Take this with a grain of salt, as I only hit inferno a week ago.
It needs crit chance/a socket for it be worth a ton. It's certainly valuable, just probably not as much as you're thinking. I'd probably price it 3-5mil.

I think you haveundervalued it. I would put it on for 15 million bid and a buyout of 25 million Would lower both by 5 mil if it did not sell the first time. I am speaking for EU server though

To me, the biggest thing would be knowing what people ending up selling things for. I give advice sometimes, but I rarely if ever find out the eventual sale price. This way, while I impart some knowledge of an item, I also gain some knowledge. Of course this would have to be a community effort.

Hi,
found some gloves but since I have no idea about casters I don't know if I can sell them or for how much. It's EU softcore.
Stats:
158 Int
86 vit
69 all resist
5% IAS
Some estimation would be great.

Sadly I don't think either one is worth much. I found cloaks with equal or better all res and mf with less armor for under 300k. You'd be lucky to get 500k at most for it imo.
The pants are probably worth nothing. Searching similar amounts of all res and str there are tons of hits for under 20k.

Dex and Vit, while almost perfect for the piece, are generally pretty low. Has a ton of armor for a helm, spirit regen is nice, and 8% deadly reach damage seems good for a monk using that instead of FoT. If it would have been FoT I would have probably used it for my monk. Thoughts on price?
