Makes tank barb a lot more fun and keeping up the dot and trying to apply it to as much stuff as possible is so much more engaging than frenzy+revenge spam that you don't go bored out of your mind. I'm loving rend in my tank build and Im smashing through act 3 much faster now in not the greatest gear. I need the heals from blood lust rune but the higher damage one is pretty insane if you dont need the survivability. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Sol-6226/hero/15778362

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me out before, doing the 1-hand/shield builds, and the smooth transition to WW/Sprint build. I'm going to be quitting and will most likely RMAH all of my items/gold, etc... I started to feel bored and couldn't really justify to continue playing. Here is my hero profile: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/trinxified-1614/hero/2139049 Have a last look at it. ![]()

I've been broke the whole time I've been playing, but finally managed to scrounge up some money. I have 5 mil to spend, and need some advice on what gear to get. Here's a link to my profile: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Gilligan-1821/hero/3626028 What should I upgrade first? What kind of stuff should I go for that will help without breaking the bank? Thanks in advance for any help!

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/DiaBoLuS-2643/hero/19312 i started playing again 2 days ago and spend all my gold on this equip. I was able to simply run a3 and a4 inferno killing everything with 5 nephalem without much of a problem, but i have no idea wheather my skills or equip is rly good :D i concentrated on core stats (str/res/vita) - do i need more life/hit or more critchance?

Chest and pants with 3 and 2 sockets you can fit them with gems also.

Your surviability is good so i'm assuming you just want to up your DPS which is getting more strength, crit chance and damage, and some attack speed here and there will get your DPS up. Generally most armour pieces can roll up to 200 strength other than shoulders which can roll 300 strength. The best chests will have 3 sockets and pants will have 2 to fit gems and get more strength. Crit chance rolls on helm, gloves, rings, bracers, amulet. Rings and Ammies with + bonus damage is also good to up DPS but rings and ammies are expensive pieces. Go here if you want to see all the max rolls on items: http://www.d3maxstats.com/ By the way you can use weapon master passive and get straight up 15% increase damage also. Just use which of the either armour passives that give you the most armour instead of using both. Also I would change your last enchantress passive to give the 3% attack speed also.

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() ![]() until now I've used the spear and the axe, but yesterday I found the sword and I figured that I would do more dmg with the sword+weaponsmaster(since I didn't use weaponsmaster with the spear, I used tough as nails). So right now I'm using the sword+axe but I've been thinking about using sword+spear since that would up my whirlwind dmg by quite a lot, at the cost of some LOH (~200) and +critdmg(~100). Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks in advance for your help! For WW, spear is terrible as a mainhand, well i think spears are terrible for mainhand generally even more so for Weapon Master. I would use that sword for your main for the passive buff and your spear as an off-hand - the axe isn't that great because it's really really low DPS. For WW barbs, Axe / Maces, then Swords / Daggers are the ones you want for your mainhand. Only go mighty weapon with weapon master if you're going for the thrive on chaos. Ideally you want the hightest DPS weapon you can find with strength and a socket for your mainhand of the mace/axe or sword/dagger variety. And for your off-hand you generally want high life on hit, high crit damage stat and a socket and generally a weapon which is decently fast, so swords, daggers or another type of weapon which rolls attack speed, It doesn't have to be the highest DPS (but shouldn't be as low as your axe either) as it forms part of your WW damage which uses main-hand and off-hand. Tornados is Mainhand only - .... others can corret me if I'm wrong. This is an example for good main-hand and offhand: The mainhand really just needs strength and socket and be of the right type, other stats are just bonuses. The stats on the off-hand are important. Also to get high LOH for WW spec, a good ammie with good amount of LOH is also recommended. + Show Spoiler + ![]()

I'm WW spec far from tank who dies, but no where near enough to be annoying. Well i guess if you can stand the grind and wait for 1.10 when PvP comes out i'm sure you find it challenging then.

Takes a while getting used to the fact that you need to actually manage your fury with both Rend and Marauder's Rage, but the damage output is insane and ranged mobs are your bitches now, molten or no molten. Only drawback is that you get your life back over time and not instantly, like Revenge does, but it's all a matter of practice I guess. Definitely recommend it to everyone who might want to spice things up a bit: spec full tank, replace Revenge with Rend/lifesteal, keep marauder's rage, try it for a couple hours and laugh maniacally :D

I have both (my Adriel's is a 39% AOE proc chance), and the increase in damage is noticeable and dramatic. Plus, as a fun bonus, Fire Walkers automatically destroy and clutter/doors etc, so you just walk through them to kill :D Those doors/clutters are free Fury though... ![]()
