Do you just prntscrn and edit with a software?
Ya you just alt print screen and crop them altogether in paint.

So I'm trying to gear my barb for 2h dps and I'm sort of running into a problem.
Currently I'm stacking +str +vit and +ra with a 2h. I'm pretty tanky with about 45k hp and ~700-800 RA w/ buff, but I only have around 18k DPS.
If I continue to purchase +str +vit and +ra, I don't think my DPS is going to scale too well. I've been trying to find gear with those 3 stats as well as some +crit or crit damage, but that gear appears to be non-existent.
Should I just continue to by +str +vit and +ra with higher stats and roll with a 2h? I like to be somewhat tanky, but I don't want to be running around A3 w/ 18k dps..
Any advice on how to gear would be appreciated.

just a little question: would a 612 dps 1hander with 100 vita, 600 loh and an open socket be any good as a barb weapon? if yes, i might make one to use this weapon myself. or will the dps be lacking too much?

Personally, I never favored heavy tank, crappy DPS style to play. D3 is about smashing monsters and the fun of kooky builds. With this new patch, it is much safer to, and in some cases with Enrage Timers, necessary to output a decent amount of DPS. With that said, I do agree that the DPS value is way too low.

1H start to become useful at around 800 DPS.

Hey I have a few questions regarding DW. If I have an amethyst in each weap at 300 LoH each, would a swing with 1 of the weapons have 300 or 600 LoH?
Same question about LoH but for emeralds and crit dmg.
How does DWing diff weapon types interact with weapons master? If I DW an axe and a sword, do the 10% crit chance and 15% dmg bonus apply to both weapons or just their respective ones.

You alternate between swings so it would be 300.
Weapon mastery is based off your main hand, it's specified in the tooltip.

What? No, both crit damage and life on hit are summed up from all your gear (amulets and rings can give LoH), meaning both weapons, and each hit you do gives you the total as life back.
Of course some skills have modifiers, like Frenzy which gives 80% of your LoH iirc.

No man! skyR is right. Only swinging a weapon can cause LOH to be proced. In fact, the LOH on amulet/ring is completely useless as you will never attack with an amulet nor ring. This is clearly listed in "jewelry mastery"...
On a serious question: Does WW calculate its damage with your main hand if you dual wield? Or is it using the average of both hands? What about the tornado in sprint(run like the wind)? I'm thinking just have a weapon with high DPS on main hand while another with high critdmg and LOH on off hand, getting the best out of both world.
|
I'm not sure about ww but sprint is main hand based. I bought a cheapass weapon with 8xx life on hit and 6x crit dmg for my offhand and its working great so far.

Does anybody know any fun to play builds? I don't really care about viability just something to chill and have fun with.

Ok so my gear: http://imgur.com/TmWA7
My spec: http://imgur.com/C9YkS
I know my one ring is a little weak, and my shield could use a higher block percentage, but I want to know what's really holding me back from progressing in Act 3 from destroying the ballista area and foward. Thanks in advance.

new shield with high block %(20+, 25+ is even better) vitality and life %(to get you to about 50k) would go a long way to making your barb ready, act 3 is pretty easy now and this will help a lot. Might be a bit of an investment for a shield, but its a stat your really lacking in. Helm with a socket/vitality/third stat?
Your wpn is nice, your other gear is decent., I actually don't think your rings are bad.

My first post was made in such sleepy confusion that it was wrong and I am unable to interpret sarcasm. Thanks to the poster after me for pointing out my failure.

Life on Hit is a single summed stat and it works well and good from amulets and rings as well. I can't even begin to think why you would say such a thing, and I had to make an account specifically to say shame on you. And yes, skrR is wrong. Single summed stat that is proc'd when you hit an enemy, regardless of the method.
Woosh. Evanthebouncy was just joking - he even said "on a serious note", right after.
Also, @Evanthebouncy, yeah, dual-wielding right now is a great choice for crit builds (including whirlwind builds). Problem is, it's ridiculously expensive to get 2 high dps weapons, with LoH and crit damage, which is what you need. Your other gear also has to be good enough defensively to compensate for the lack of a shield. So only for the rich, just like in D2. :p
Another option for crit builds is a shield with 8-10% crit. Slightly more defensive, but also a great deal cheaper.

You should hold your ground! I don't know what blizzard was thinking putting LoH on rings/amulets when you can't use them to hit stuff!

your everything is a bit on the low side ;p
string of ears would make a huge difference imo. even a cheap one for <1 mil can get you 13-14% melee reduction. helm of commands with all resist and vit can be as low as 1 mil too.

Are these legendaries really necessary? They are so expensive, and maybe only helm of commands I can manage to cough up some gold for. It's hard to find a good one. Socket and Allres on it?
Same for string of ears, justice lantern, storm shields. too much gold really.
