It's decent to keep but I dont think it will sell as it has no crit chance nor a socket.

Found out pretty quickly that pets are pretty useless in Inferno as they die pretty damn quick, not sure how their health is calculated off your own health but they die to damn quick. Using build as suggessted and clearing content pretty easy. Hope to clear inferno by the end of week
lol never seen anyone drool over gear before.
I drool all over your black man's... gears!
I have to say that glad you enjoy WD in inferno with those gears, defo not the case of all wd players I rolled WD as my main so you can imagine that i have alot problem in grinding good gears.
^^ The helm has really good stats but is missing the critical socket + crit which is unfortunate as the other stats are good.
^ haha, if you want to drool go over to the end game gear thread, some sweet gear in there, not to many WD's in there though unfortunately as i really wanted to see what an awesome set of WD gear looks like.
I actually roll with all 5 classes, my barb is my best geared character imho, the good thing with this is when i find like good gear i can actually use it as i play all 5.
I wish pets were more powerful though, I always think of pets when I think WD ever since the first character reveal trailers years ago of WD, and yet they're so not viable in inferno. I do hope they get a major buff in 1.04 like they said they would.

There's a WD with even more dps but something's wrong with the link. Looks like he transferred his gear to a wizard. Edit: There it is: http://www.diabloprogress.com/hero/omgmango-6470/hero/11243692 Just switch offhands and you've got yourself an endgame WD.
yeh i've seen that one, its just dps gear, his got next to no all resists and only 31k life, barely 3000 armour, .... not much defence there and not much survivability for inferno. i prefer a more well rounded WD with better all round stats on gear.

Who cares about survivability if mobs drop dead before dealing 1 point of damage?

I didn't regret much because i think WD is most fun to play with from normal-hell but don't you feel like they did no testing with WD for inferno? All my trusty pets suddenly become trash when i reach inferno Q_Q I haven't seen anyone with better gears than your WD tbh, Dr.Green from the earlier pages has 60k+ dps but lower hp/res compare to you iirc.
We are supposed to be an insane nuker with our pets tanking us but the concept failed pretty hard in inferno, forcing us to get tanky gears on ourselves or some people chose to go glasscannon build in which both cases are totally disheartening.

Yeah its just personal preference (as i said in my original post it is purely my preference) on not having a character which feels squishy, especially against champ packs. Don't get wrong the DPS is crazy. I have a full nats gear demon hunter with pretty much all dps gear 110k w/o ss and 200k with ss and sure you can clear mobs with a few clicks and you can get by champs by being careful, but as soon as you get hit you die, which for me isn't all to fun having to be very careful to not get hit. Much prefer to just stand there like a boss / idiot and comfortably clear content with less deaths. Sure my DH has way more DPS but I have much more fun on my WD.
@BurningSera where the hell is Dr.Greens gear? I've back 20+ pages and can't find his gear. Yeah i'm not sure how much they tested pets in inferno as they're no where near as viable, which goes against them wanting to diversify builds. Again hopefully 1.04 fixes this and i can romp around with dogs and gargantuan like through the earlier difficulties.
Im at the point were A3 farm is doable. But it's slow, I die too much and all around not profitable. At 470AR I can take 2-3 hits. I simply cant keep fast/vortex away from me(maybe im not good enough?). I switched GoD to Hex with heal today as GoD barely slows elites. I have enough DPS to kill shit within a decent time.
I have tried Bears with 5 CD's and it's really 50/50 wether I or the elite pack dies. Im not performing consistent enough and feel really silly vs trash mobs. Can anyone here give me some tips on Bears in A3? How to postion oneself in barracks, battlefield or caves.

Actually I have 800 resists with that setup lol it's not as glass as you make it out to be :p Pardon the lack of gear on my armor profile, split it up between 4 chars to get on the diabloprogress dps rankings

what the, when i was checking out each piece of gear that day there was like only 3 pieces which had all resists on it, nice video man, ... and stats, by the way you die much farming act 3?

One ring, pants, chest, bracers, belt all have 50+ resists lol
Nah it's pretty hard to die when I ohko most stuff along with spirit vessel passive (i use it on normal runs for the CDR and useful passive)
I've just recently started my first WD and i need some advice on what weapon to use. I'm mostly using the skill dire bats since it reminds me of my most played charachter the celestial orb 2h mace Wizard, and i have most experience on how to properly use such skills in inferno. In contrast to my wizard i'm not wondering what would give me the most damage per kite burst, but what setup would make me have enough mana to actualy be able to use dire bats as my primary skill of choice. The WD mana system seems realy strange compared to other clases >_>
So whis is bether, the slowest posible 2H weapon or a fast dager and mojo both with mana regeneration? Which would be less stresfull on my mana globe?
And a second question , which is the best Gargantuan rune for inferno?

Two handers can't give you what 1hand+mojo can at the moment (after 1.0.4 yes). For inferno I am using a Gargantuan/Bears/VQ build, albeit sacrificing a lot of DPS though Bears obviously make up for that since they are almost too good. I am using Restless Giant for Gargantuan, though Big Stinker is probably the wisest choice. The rune itself doesn't matter all that much in Inferno since if you manage to make the garg survive, that's already a big win and all you need from the guy.
Hopefully someone is in the same boat as me and can shed some light.
I have been running a VQ direbats high mf build for quite a while now and doing Act 1 + 2 runs, usually just warrior's rest as it was insanely fast. From what I've heard, old VQ builds just won't have the mana regen to spam bears or bats anymore. I have mana regen on my knife, helm, and off hand but I guess that won't be enough, even with the passive regen buff.
So my question is, what are you guys looking to build towards now to farm? I got 3 other lvl 60s I can gear up if I have to to farm with but I just can't help but <3 my WD more. I guess I could switch to mf wiz if I have too and reuse a lot of my WD gear on him if I have to but, like I said, I'd rather WD it up.
^I'd say dont spend any gold on gear for now because we have no idea how would the minions buff affect us WD.
And guys please report back how would the minions buff turned out after patch. If they can tank well as they did in lower difficulties then i am going to install the patch :D
^Will test when I get back home after work, that'll be in 8-10 hours.
Previously, I was using WD to clear warrior's rest using VQ/bearspam with really crappy MF equipment. I think you can compensate by swapping BBV slam dance rune for rain dance, and having some kind of pet tank for you (although fetishes might still be the best).
If you're farming entire acts instead of just 1 place, zombie dogs might be useful. Will test and see what happens.
Remember the low HP, high hp regen, Wizard build? You can apply the same idea to zombie dogs and make them invincible. The max amount of damage they can take is based on their base HP of 10k.
Hmm, with mana runes on my skills it feels pretty similar to the old VQ mana regen, at least with my direbats doing warrior's rest. Definitely a lot to tweak and play with but with the right combo of item mana regen and mana runes it might still be possible to do bats.
