Since being hit is an option now I was thinking about doing a dh "tank" build, I know, LOL right? I was thinking something like this http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aPYgkV!cXV!YbcYcb I haven't tested it yet, I want to get some crit chance gloves and another ring first so I can use gloom when needed w/ the disc regeneration from night stalker. I could probably get some high dex/high all resist boots w/ no movement speed for cheap since I would not have to kite.
Before switching specs, I have ~30k hp and ~450 all resist atm and can take 3-4 spears in act 3 w/o dying. Between shadow power, sentry, and numbing traps I'd have another 105% damage reduction so in theory I should be able to take 7-8 hits which should give me plenty of time to life steal/regen health. I have a decent 1-hander w/ ~600 loh so I could also use a shield when/if needed for more survival.
Anyone put any thought into something like this? Got any tips for the build listed above? Like I said I haven't even tested it yet so I'm not sure if thats what I'd wind up with myself.

How much do you crit for? I'm kind of hesitant to throw in a lot of money to getting 2 decent xbows

So update on my MF/DPS build, some upgrades since I last posted, and a bit of a dps drop due to ias nerfs, but not too bad:
at about 101k dps w/o sharpshooter (185k with), 43k HP, 233% MF w/o follower/NV stacks. Changed my skill build up quite a bit as well.

I can't damage them and they teleport on top of me and kill me in 3 hits.
So that's just gg is it, "thanks for playing, no you don't get your boss fight, piss off"??
I feel like I MUST be missing something.

If you don't have the dps to kill the main one, then run them to the top of the stairs on the level, then go back to town, portal to the waypoint at the bottom of the stairs, SS and run past them :D

Blizzard defines fun. They've been guiding us towards the path of fun with the patches :D
Anyhow, those are almost as bad as the invulnerable minion frogs I had in the ice cave.. just skip them.

between 45k and 85k. on average i would say i see something around 65k the most. fun about that much crit is that i crit so often i mostly see big numbers 
i dont really know for what spiketraps crit and cluster arrows but its just a lot of big numbers and everything is dead after that!

spent 2m-ish buying 2 hand xbows and suddenly 400% crit dmg. will try the korean build tomorrow.

there are currently two 1h xbows up in eu with 771.6 dps and one with 756.8 dps.
both have a socket and already 45% and 50% crit dmg on the weapons. both together would cost you 2.5m
if you have about 30% crit chance and 100% crit dmg increase on your gear already those two would be good damage.

just start on the kill asmodan quest and take the stonefront waypoint and farm elites until azmo. no stupid bosses in your way who drop not enough for the effort

So I've been trying to go from 5NV to Siegebreaker to Spider to Azmodan but I keep getting stuck with champion phase beasts that seem to heal up far more frequently than before.
zone in -> SS -> dmg -> zone out -> zone in -> SS -> dmg -> zone out -> zone in -> wait, full HP again?

but no dex, is it still worth it?
i am currently running with a 1006 dps bow which looks like crap but has 460 LoH and 80 dex plus a 17 ais dead mans legacy

I was trying it out with 850 dps 1h xbows and my 1.1k 2h xbow was slightly better idk maybe I have low crit (22%/150).

well my gear is bad overall anyway, i ve only 45k dps without ss which i dont use and 5 percent crit chance etc ~_~

I just tried to help a wizard friend beat him on inferno (he has 38k dps) and I have 100k dps, and we gave up after 7 wipes. So retarded lol.

so id like to give a nonglasscannon style a shot in this patch. are there any benchmarks for defensive values for taking hits in a2/3/4? atm im sitting at 16k life 2,1k armor and 80-144 resis which is obviously still not enough to survive most hits a2+.
