I currently have 300 all resist, 2.2k armor, 28k health, 26.8k damage unbuffed (77k max with SS and steady aim), 18.5% crit chance and 240% crit damage. I'm using a 2h crossbow/quiver combo, and the crossbow is 920dps.
What do you think that I should be building up now to be able to do Magdha runs? I understand that none of my stuff is very good, but I don't really get anything AH worthy and end up salving and selling inferno essence or otherwise selling to the store. As a result I don't really have any cash usually (maybe 500-600k tops).
Alternatively, is there a different point that you guys think I should be farming?
Thanks. Now after the patch, drops are buffed in Act 1, so you should probably try it a bit more, the odds of getting great items are higher (though still pretty low).

i just swapped out shadow power gloom for impale greivous wounds and loving it. use ball lightning for aoe DA caltrops with root (although considering using the 10% crit actually cuz my crit is low
i only have about 30k dps and 300 all resist ~23k hp, imple on an elite pack just does os much damge i crit for olike 130k-150k damage sometimes and yo use the elite health drop by so much.

Can someone recommend me gear for act 2 inferno? Currently got about 500 vitality, 900 dex, and 450+ resist on all.
What stats should I focus on? Is resist all useless for DH?

I could do magdha comfortably with 350 resist,26k hp,3300 armour and 21k dps, increasing your armour will increase your survivability a lot. Your hp is okay, but resist could go up a bit. The rest are fine. Her butterfly attack could one shot me/nearly kill me pre 1.03, but that attack is very easily avoidable.

My stats, can't do act 2 inferno at all. Suggestions?

What do you mean by ' can't do '?
I did it with 11k hp, virtually no resist or armor, 30k dps unbuffed. I just died a crapload. But that's ok because Blizzard intended that you can't play a glasscannon. But you should surive one or two hits right?

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but do many people in here use the evasive fire skill in favour of hungering arrow? I can only speak for levels 1-23, but for me it feels really nice to use. The instahit, extra hatred regeneration, auto backflip when mobs get too close, coupled with the passive that gives you extra movement speed when using that type of skill makes it really good in my eyes. It's so nice for picking out targets really easily to snipe.
Thoughts?

I am one of those who got hit by Attackspeed nerf pretty bad but the nerfs to mob damage makes everything so much easier. I can take 2-3 hits from act 3 spearman now and i dont get one-shotted by fire-bird (moluks or something?). 600 LoH on my weap is enough to own reflect damage affix aswell...

If you have gear like the guy in the above post yes. For most people it is far easier to play with quiver though. But, er, what is it? Quivers get 15% ias, dualwield bonus is 15%...quivers also get the unique DH affixs, so..what's the difference? You get different bonuses if you have a good secondary crossbow. If you have a socket for +crit dmg, life on hit, etc.
Does LoH/crit damage etc work for both attacks or just when that xbow fires? If you have 30% crit chance then having two weapons with emeralds gives you insane crit damage. You cannot get as much crit damage on a quiver and the multiplicative gains from crit get pretty extreme at higher gear levels (400% crit damage is a lot). Of course, there are also drawbacks like you don't need that much damage and it would be better to have things like magic find, but ^_^ Big numbers are cool. not really. quivers can give 8.5% crit chance which becomes more important than crit damage when the disparity between the two values increase (see graph of x*y). lets say you have a star emerald in the bow in your off-hand (gives 70% cd) to arrive at 400% cd. that's a critical modifier of 1 + 0.3*4 = 2.2. Compare this to 1 + (0.3+0.085)*3.3 = 2.27 from quiver which is higher than dual wield. also this disparity will be magnified by the fact that 1h bows have a lower base damage compared to 2h bows/xbows and the fact that quivers offer a bunch of important things like max disc. and hatred regen, there's basically no point to dual wield unless you are going for LoH. 10% crit chance from archery passive

So now that we know +% elemental damage actually boosts your overall dmg % by that amount, some items are looking very strong because of it. Such as Stone of Jordan with a good affix and 8 max disc, that would be a big dps increase over most rings while giving you 8 disc and mf.. and also the gf now that repair costs are through the roof ;p Also the new zunimassa's boot(dropped after 1.0.3) with 200+ dex would be amazing for boots as well, but very glass cannon, while SoJ gives you the best of both worlds with damage and disc for survivability. Is there any other item that I missed that we could potentially use on DHs?
Oh yea, should try and get the good SoJs before everyone finds out about it while they're relatively cheap.

Thoughts? I'm only level 58, so no inferno experience here. But I'm totally in love with Evasive Fire + Covering Fire rune. In addition to the advantages you mentioned, it also shoots over many obstacles like those created by waller bosses, and it more or less auto-aims. That makes it super convenient to use and easy to kite with, just aim in the general direction while holding the shift key and hit 3 enemies. The range is large too. It fires farther than the auto-aim would have you believe. It can hit anything on the screen if you point the cursor there. Therefore, try to fight "horizontally" when possible in order to make use of the extra vision on a widescreen monitor. Lastly, after you backflip, you can immediately fire another shot, which is much faster than the rate of fire of a slow crossbow. In conjuction with Vault and the Tactical Advantage passive, Evasive Fire makes for a super fun play style based on mobility.

You can't kill Cydaea anymore, basically. The spiderlings get a guaranteed hit for about 40k when they spawn. You can try to keep Shadow Power on for the duration of that phase, but it's very unlikely to work.

A few people mentioned it a few pages back when Athene streamed it. The first 10 pages of those were basically sold out in the 15~ minutes before server went down for patch.
I had bought a Tal Rasha neck hoping to make a profit, let a friend see if it was a dps increase for him and it was despite it having worse stats w/o the % holy dmg from neck which could only mea that the %holy dmg did indeed increase his overall damage. Now is the extra dmg done as holy dmg? That I have no idea about, also doesn't matter after the patch basically removed all resist from monster affixes.

Just SS whenever you see her shoot spiders out and move away, haven't had trouble at all with the new spiders.

I kill her before the 2nd phase, but I didn't have the dps I used to run around and place down traps instead of trying to kill them as they come cause one could spawn on you and 1 shot you. As long as you're moving they don't get a hit off.

Evasive fire has been stealth nerfed. It no longer shoots over walls, etc.

Also, changing zones, equipment or shooting destructible items no longer resets sharpshooter.
