i only have 3 items left with ias (andys, gloves and bracer) but i have 37.5% crit and about 400% crit dmg. playing now the following build: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aZXVYg!YXe!ccZcZY since i have such a high crit rate the spray of teeth rune on hungering arrow does awesome aoe damage! not to say that impale with the 100% rune does over 200k shoots for me even with 1h xbows! all this combined with the nighstalker passive makes playing my DH so much fun. especially on mob groups i can fill my disci from 0 to full in seconds! i like it way better than 2h xbow with mass ias. oh and btw my charscreen tells me 82k dmg  (may drop a bit tomorrow due to ias nurf but i doubt it be more than 10k) | ||

Quivers can give you crit chance and specific bonuses like +dmg to elites which I don't think is possible for weapons. A lot of properties are easier to get on a quiver than a bow, such as +max discipline, +hatred regen. The +attack speed bonus should equal out since dual wielding gives +15% atk spd and usually quivers offer the same. | ||

If you have a socket for +crit dmg, life on hit, etc. Does LoH/crit damage etc work for both attacks or just when that xbow fires? | ||

If you have 30% crit chance then having two weapons with emeralds gives you insane crit damage. You cannot get as much crit damage on a quiver and the multiplicative gains from crit get pretty extreme at higher gear levels (400% crit damage is a lot). Of course, there are also drawbacks like you don't need that much damage and it would be better to have things like magic find, but ^_^ Big numbers are cool. | ||

in addition a 1h xbow can have up to 10disci.perfekt 1h xbow would be: high elemenal roll 50% dmg 10 disci 1.5 hate/sec 100% crit dmg socket not dependent on ias and huge crit increase! combine this with helmet 6% crit / amu 8% / rings 3.5% x2 / gloves 10% / bracer 6% and finally the passive 10% = 47% crit | ||
