EPTAny ideas what to upgrade next? I'm sitting at 30 mil in the bank and it doesn't feel I can buy anything that will give me more than a hardly noticeable increase in DPS (pre-SS it's 70k). Note that I want to preserve my EHP and MF. I don't like the amulet but without it I have too low vitality and almost 40 less MF which is just too much to drop.

I think you would notice a huge increase of survival if you swapped some EHP for extra disc. Your chest and quiver are not good enough to justify not holding extra discipline. Also, if you're going to us SS, you should prioritize Crit Damage over Crit Chance... | ||

As for the chest, that one was slightly below 1 mil. A similar one with max disc was at least 10x as expensive at the moment when I bought it. I don't want to flush all my money into a stat that does nothing reliable, especially since I've had 40 disc for like an eternity until recently when I got myself an upgrade. | ||

Uh...I don't think you're factoring in Disc regen. With a cooldown of 2 seconds, you only need 38 Disc for 3 straight SSs. 48 Disc will give you 4 straight SSs. | ||

My personal favourite is Evasive Fire: Covering Fire and Multishot: Fire At Will. I sometimes use CA: LfB or Impale: GW as a single-target nuke, but usually the MS damage is enough. | ||

I use hungering: spray of teeth and multishot; fire at will. When MP comes out I'll use cluster arrow instead of multishot at higher MP levels. | ||

I easily got to 100k DPS without SS for under 30 mil per piece, and I had MF on every piece as well. Without MF you could easily make quite a few upgrades, but if you want to keep MF it might be tougher, but still - I got my gloves with 150 dex 7 ias 8.5 cc 25 cd and 15 MF for 22 mil, and an amulet with 170 dex 6 cc 55 cd 22 mf @ 20 mil, and those were both bought a couple weeks ago. My character, for reference: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Pokebunny-1967/hero/18746826 Every piece is worth under 30 mil except the bow (I found it), the boots (just bought it to replace MF boots, but my MF boots were ~5mil), and possibly the depth diggers (got a good deal on them at 32mil). The biggest difference I see between my char (before I started buying natalya) and yours is definitely the gloves, though. Your jewelry could also be improved, but I'd wait til patch on that at least. edit: Ah, guess you're EU, but it doesn't seem like our chars are too different regardless - I'm not sure how much it would cost, but your gloves could definitely use an upgrade. | ||

what should I upgrade next? feels like I cant find find much of an upgrade for around 100m, unless I get rid of my nat set. 2x socket manticore at around 100m only improves my dps by around 10k, stuff like witching hour/inna pants improves it by even less, and I lose a big chunk of EHP. | ||

Thx You can use a dps calculator to figure out if that would be a dps increase, but I would highly doubt it seeing as your current crossbow is fairly strong. I wouldn't go for a manticore until they drop in price. It is crazy expensive to get one that's better than a yellow. For you, I would recommend getting a non-MF set. For ring farming and future pvp, a non-MF set seems more intuitive. | ||
