Otherwise game is plenty fun, the beta is sadly short (and easy as expected, blizz's early parts of games always are), I'll be smashing some demon face after launch with my friends for sure, unless something unexpected happens. | ||

Umm, do you have any idea how much harder it is to calculate collisions with complex shapes? They could make the hitbox rectangles smaller, but suggesting they make the models themselves hitboxes just means you're lagging down the whole system for very little gain. | ||

One word. Consoles. That's why the hitboxes are enormous. So that Console player X can just move the stick in that general direction over the pack of monsters and it'll "autoaim" onto each specifc monster. I've religiously held shift since D2 came out but, even I sometimes get owned when I click on a clearly empty spot next to a monster and magically I fire at it. It's really stupid. | ||

Servers came back up and people were logging in and in games. Then about 5-10 minutes ago they went back down. I myself managed to get in a game but, only for about 5 minutes before servers crashed again. It was smooth except for the last minute with huge lag spikes and then BOOM, servers down. | ||

How can it be that my Witch Doctor initially knows how to swing a dagger, but once he hits level 2 he suddenly is inable to do so? Hope Blizzard fixes this. It might not be better than your skills, but sometimes it's just fun to run into the fray with your sword raised. | ||
