Turns out there is basically no real time when it is useful in this game, except hen switching skills. It would be better if you could put the skills in any slots. I personally prefer to use the keyboard for most of my attacks, which is what I did in D2. Can't really do it here but I have gotten used to it after a couple months of dabbling. | ||

Actually I like this. It means that melee and spellcasters are using the same damage progression mechanic, which is good for balancing. It also means that early skills will still be useful later in the game. The downside for me is that it just doesn't make any sense why a wizard would get more powerful magic missiles because he's holding a sword that does more damage. I guess it's silly to try to make sense of things in a fantasy world like this. | ||
