I have that integrated graphics card in my desktop and its no good Couldn't even play Age of Empires III in lowest settings without lag Definitely upgrade if you want to play My laptop does better which I hope can run SC2 in the lowest settings ![]() How do you think 9300M GS will fare? The other specs should be fine on my lappy (Dual Core 2.00 GHz 4gb Ram), but worried about the graphics card

The 3450 I'm not quite sure about either. It might be able to run it at low/med though.

(While it isn't indicated, if this is a laptop then disregard what i said as there is no way to upgrade) The 3450 is an extremely slow card. There is absolutely no way it would be able to play any modern game whatsoever. It's more than twice as slow as the 4350, which once again is terrible. Upgrade your video card to something like a 4670 and up, and your performance should be perfectly fine.

I'm trying to buy a PC right now and trying to save as much as possible cuz I can only afford a certain amount atm. Is it a big deal if I downgrade from ATI Radeon HD 5850 to 5770 for $100 less? Or should I just go ahead and do it and not worry about it too much? You think I'd be able to sell it if it's not as good as I want it to be and upgrade to 5850?

The 5850 generally performs at around 150%+ of the output of the 5770. If I recall correctly you were deciding between an LGA 1156 rig vs a LGA 1366 rig. Well, the i5 750 with a 5850 will perform much better than the i7 920 with the 5770 in almost every scenario.

Downgrading to the 5770 will show a noticeable performance decrease if you have a resolution of 1920 or higher (I think?), and the 5770 really has no place in a higher performance (i7 or i5 really) rig imo. I would downgrade something else before going for the 5770 if possible. Then again, it depends on how much performance you really need from your graphics card. Just go with i5 750, you are not going to need an i7 if you don't plan to be doing anything weird.

Again, if you want to save money, downgrade to a LGA 1156. The disadvantages of that particular socket do not apply in your situations. 1. PSU can go down to 600 - 650W 2. The Wireless adapter is so that you can access wireless networks, and is optional.
