Figured I'd post my specs and see what you think (should I upgrade or will I be ok for v.high settings) OS: Windows 7 x64 CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Memory: 3GB (don't remember speed) Graphics: GeForce 9800 GTX+ Based off an older Dell XPS, so a stock mobo/HD/case/psu. Honestly I'm surprised the PSU didn't buckle when I dropped the gfx card in.

But there's no way to know. I do know that the computers that were used at Blizzcon when I went were 8 series video cards and presumably Intel quad-cores. The game ran very smooth at the 1680x1050 resolution. But games never really got intense or anything.

I don't know why people thing games like this require XtReMe rigs, especially considering we're looking at an RTS game here. I mean, if my friend can max out Red Alert 3 at 1920x1080 with 4x AA with a 9800gt (NOT GTX+) then i'm fairly sure we have little to worry about in that field. On another topic: The 5570 is fucking amazing. Look at these benchmarks: http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-5570-review/ Basically, better performance than a EDIT: and not only that, but according to this article, it is capable of 900+mhz overclocked, which is nearly 50%. Imagine what it would be like with aftermarket cooling for the VRM's etc. I mean, when overclocked, it is equal to the performance of a non-overclocked 5670. That's just damned amazing for the price.

You should be perfectly fine, as a matter of fact, there is absolutely no way you will have any trouble running SC2 whatsoever. Rejoice! (btw, what did that 3870x2 M cost you?)

So, I wouldn't know how much it cost me, haha!

It should be fine since the P7P55D has memOK (i think?), but watch out because anything higher than 1.65V on ram can hurt your CPU. Edit: I think mahnini approves of the case ![]() Edit2: I'm not sure what you mean by max resolution, but that will definitely run it 100% max settings at 1920x1200 ezpz
