Well see the whole customizing system on ibuypower.com is pretty weird. They give you random options with each PC you're trying to customize so I might not even see what you're suggesting... Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I like have no clue what's good and what's not. I know 5850 requires minimum of 600w PSU tho. Shouldn't I get extra just in case? I mean I know you shouldn't skimp on PSU..... "/

I asked FragKrag to do the same thing but I guess he's afk atm. I'll take a look but basically I can get ~$1300 that'll run SC2 ezpz? Fawk ja! This whole process has been pretty frustrating! Lol I never had any interest in PC's and stuff so I'm like clueless... I'm sure some people's grandparents know more than I do! Pretty eff'n embarrassing. "/ Do I need the full size case tho? Or can I get away with the mid one? Oh and is liquid cooling better(safer) than fans?

if you aren't playing at 1920x* resolution or don't plan on doing so in the future i would say go with a 5770 otherwise it's a waste of money.

You don't need a full size case, I just picked it because it'll bring FragKrag a smile, maybe. I think one of the specials shows that the 922 has a sale or rebate or something, forgot already. Honestly if you build this yourself it'll probably be cheaper, but there are some perks from the specials going on right now, so the difference is somewhat less. I also didn't include OC, but you can consider adding that option yourself. As for knowing computers, yeah, some people just don't know and don't see it as worth the effort. That's why I am not particularly against people buying from custom vendors instead of DIY. Mahini, read my post, they have it for free right now ![]()

So if I get the fans instead of liquid cooling, should I get this? + Show Spoiler + Advanced - iBUYPOWER Harmony SRS Sound Reduction System Improved Airflow Silent Fans I'll stick with the 5850 tho, I might find a use for it but thanks! xP

So just stick to liquid cooling? lol I'm not even sure what I mean by safe... liquid + PC doesn't sound too safe to me! lmao Do you think liquid "upgrade" is a better choice than the coolermaster fan? I mean case is coolermaster and fan coolermaster... seems like they should go together like bread and butter oO Btw this is what I got and if you approve - I'm buying it! xD + Show Spoiler + Case ( CoolerMaster HAF 922 Mid Tower Gaming Case - Black ) Case Lighting ( Cold Cathode Neon Light - Red ) Processor ( Intel® Core™ i5 750 Processor (4x 2.66GHz/8MB L3 Cache) ) Processor Cooling ( CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooling Fan System ) Memory ( 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - Corsair XMS3 Dominator w/DHX technology ) Video Card ( ATI Radeon HD 5850 - 1GB XFX XXX Edition - Single Card ) Motherboard ( Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 -- Intel P55 Chipset CrossFire Supported w/8-ch HD Audio, Dual-Channel DDR3, Gb LAN, 2 PCI-E MB ) Power Supply ( 750 Watt -- Corsair CMPSU-750TX Power Supply - SLI Ready ) Primary Hard Drive ( 1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 16M Cache, 7200 RPM, 3.0Gb/s - Single Drive ) Optical Drive ( 22X Sony Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black ) Flash Media Reader/Writer ( 12-In-1 Internal Flash Media Card Reader/Writer - Black ) Sound Card ( 3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard ) Network Card ( Intel Pro 10/100/1000 Network Card ) Operating System ( Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit ) Power Protection ( Opti-UPS SS1200-AVR Mighty Voltage Regulator + Network 10/100/1000 LAN Surge Protector ) Advanced Build Options ( Professional wiring for all cables inside the system tower - Achieve exceptional airflow in your chassis ) Advanced Build Options ( Tuniq TX-2 High Performance Thermal Compound - The best interface between your CPU and the heatsinks ) It's $1430. I definitely like the price so if this IS (or more than) what I need to run SC2 on highest settings ezpz, then THIS is what I'm getting. (I don't play much of other games on PC and don't really do anything extraordinary with my PC, so yeah)

i mean unless you want to water cool those too in which case it'll probably cost you a lot more but if it's worth it to you go for it.

Oh, if that's what you meant by safe, yeah, it is safe. Besides, if it breaks, you are buying it from a vendor, just complain to them. No need to grab the XFX XXX edition, I doubt you'll enjoy the perks from it, difference is minimal. 650 is ample for PSU. As for liquid cooling vs air, well, I really only choose liquid cooling because they had it down as free. If there is no OC, whatever advantage air enjoys doesn't matter. I wouldn't even bother with the advanced build options, but if $30 buys you peace of mind, why not.
