Nada, Casy for Terran
Bisu, Best for Protoss
JaeDong for Zerg.

Most terran pros have 300+ APM nowadays though.

If you look down of the 800+ apm there is another APM, this is the Effective APM (no spam apm)
So as you can see July has only 250 real apm. The one you say is only the apm peak the one above is the normal average apm. So the one that is the most important is the EAPM because you cant get it just spaming with useless actions.

I thought the 3rd one was min APM, not EAPM. Can someone confirm?

Well, I saw a youtube vid on July having something like 818apm. But I think NaDa has the highest apm cuz microing vults while macroing (aka tornado style) is hard to do...

oh and EAPM is just bullshit, i've tested it vigorously, and my EAPM would be highest when i was mostly spamming and making useless actions, and it would be far lower when i was not spamming at all and carefully planning each action as efficiently as possible. Albeit it is SOME form of indication as to how efficient a player is, but i wouldn't base someones effective action usage on EAPM.

Hence players like Flash, Oov, Stork and Savior have low APM. Flash, Stork and Oov all have amazing macro(Savior used to have), hence they have low apm. I would imagine 815 have low apm too, and his macro is fantastic.

Two years ago would say Reach Nada and July were the fastest for their respective race, but right now I dont know. I would imagine guys like Jaedong Bisu and Nada or Casy are the fastest ones right now.

Doesnt really matter though as long as you're as effective as the macrointensive players mentioned first in my post.

After reading through all the posts, this one is the only one that made any sense. Thank you.

It's really hard say now because there's so many new players. A few years ago you could absolutely claim that nada or xellos was the fastest, now 320 or so apm isn't even considered a lot among pros anymore. But the highest I've ever seen is still g.s)kyo with 450+ in just about every game, including 25 minutes and longer. Of pros, it'd have to be JD for zerg, no idea for protoss (maybe Ever)P(Vical or By.Kiss if they can be considered pros, or bisu/free out of the well-known pros), and for terran there's many players with 350+, the highest among pros probably Casy or Bifrost.

I think the best indicator of speed is if you just watch the FPVods though. Jaedong's FP is probably the most impressive I've seen, followed by Hwasin even though he doesn't have as much apm as some of the other terrans.

It is the minimum APM, I've never seen Korean leagues use EAPM ever.

IMHO, I think Nada is still the "fastest". He might not have the highest APM, but his mouse speed is insane. If you watch any of his FPVods, you will notice that during his initial split, he will have all 4 of his SCVs split BEFORE they start moving (that just blows my mind away, you guys should try and see for yourself how hard it is). I've never seen that in any other pros' fpvods.

Its true, his splits are very fast (he has insane yamato cloning too, among the best in the scene). After watching some Xellos FPVODs I've seen him have great (and fast) aiming with his mouse too. iloveoov (although his APM is 250-280) showed this skill in his games too...

What kind of a stupid question is this??

Ever heard of Kespa ranking?

#1 = highest apm, #2 = 2nd highest etc.

Hm, if that wasn't ironic: it doesn't make any sense.
Oov and Savior have *low* APM by today's standards. Stork and Flash have both very high APM. So... Guybrush's whole idea is wrong.

whats even more bizzarely ironic is that flash and stork have low apm stork is about 240..

Some softwares, like chaos launcher ( with plugins ) can give your apm in real time.
Bwchart needs the replay if you want to know your apm in a game.
Those programs will count all the clicks you do with your mouse or your keyboard. Your apm will be the number of clicks during one minute i guess.

Hovewer you can chose different scales in bwchart, and sometimes you will see people with 700+ apm in the graph because over a really short period of time they did a lot of click. But this doesnt mean that they did 700 actions during one minute, but maybe 7 actions in 1s ( during some uber intense micro / spam moment ).

Btw, BWAI for the win, 1200 + apm .
fuck all those elitists brb watching streams of elite players.

seriously next disrespectful comment in this blog is ip ban. Be happy or get the hell out. // SC2 is like playing with neutral-colored Play-Doh while BW is like colorful Legos.

Not every click as an action. attackmove is one key+one click but only one action.
The APM at a specific point in a game/replay is not well defined and every program gives a different value for that. It also depends on the settings of bwchart.
The average APM of a replay is clearer and simply the number of actions divided by the gameduration(on fastest speed). The first minutes(2 I think) are usually disregarded.
There are also programs which calculate an effecte APM filtering actions which are probably spam.
Live programs:
APM-Alert (1.15.3)
APM-Live (1.15.2)
Replay programs:
bwchart
bwrepinfo

ELIZA is a computer program by Joseph Weizenbaum, designed in 1966, which parodied a Rogerian therapist, largely by rephrasing many of the patient's statements as questions and posing them to the patient.
