there is an assasination plot in the works for whom tho i will name no names, but on another topic we needa get organized for the game reset and make sure cartels are like 1 or 2 for gunners and the rest are junkie/vest whores to get max benifits, i want to see team liquid 1 2 and 3 in the top 10 next round

Yeah, I saw you post that. I was like, "holy shit." None of my jumps are ever that good.

So out of the ~60 of us playing, who intends to play next round? If FakeSteve doesn't, I can start a new thread to start planning the next round so that on day one we're all on the same page.

Gunner is fun until you start getting hit. When you notice even a rank 2000 can slam you and your lack of vests it's not so fun.

Well I mean when it comes down into a slugfest, gunners get owned. That's why a full gunner cartel's not likely to hit top 5. But it's a good support cartel. Because the reality is, at a certain point, if you strike an opposing cartel, it can easily escalate into a feud. And pure gunners, although they can cripple the stronger opponents, the relative lack of vests can, in turn, allow even their weakest to buy a few guns and cripple you back.

EDIT:
I'll also mention that the strength of a mixed cartel is that even if you get crippled as a gunner economy-wise, you can get enough income from your farmer cartel-mates to feed you more guns. Several times this season already, in the few days I've played, I've found a pot of several million waiting for me when the stronger farming players used their tokens.

So as much as I'm in favour of the 1-2-3 teams, it comes with the caveat that it's highly unlikely you can secure slots 1 and 2 due to the defensively weak nature of a pure gunner team.
