Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is if you had the name Sam Soon, whether you're Korean or not, it's a pretty fugly name. And I think in the show, in her past, kids made fun of her but her dad made her feel better about it and he died or something. Forgot about it.

Im prolly just ignorant and it all sounds the same to me Yo Hwan, Jae Yoon are modern kinda names. Like my name, Tae Hyun. Modern. They sound nice and modern. Parents choose that nowadays. But in the past, the meaning of the names were much more important and they were usually (not always) chosen by the grand parents. So kind of an old school name but with good meaning. So sometimes good meanings came up with old fashioned, untasteful names. like.. Choon Ja Bong Ja Bong Soo Sam Soon Dong Hyang (For a girl, lol) (my gf's name =\) Geez, I don't know, the list goes on. Anyway, immature modern people sometimes make fun of those old names, especially kids. Maybe that's why she felt annoyed by her name in the drama.

Speaking of old fashioned names - I was supposed to be Myung-Geum. Ugh.

I think most famous progamers have what would be considered modern sounding names. Except NaDa (isn't Yoon Yeol an uncommon name?)
