It would be awesome for him if he didn't lose by 40 percent to Romney.

In other news, McCain leads in SC voting 36 to 28 percent for Huckabee. Thompson and Romney are back at 15, making this a 2 horse race. No network has called the vote for McCain yet, but I think they may soon.

All the major networks have projected McCain to win SC. With McCain already leading in Florida before the vote in SC, I think he's the clear frontrunner.

Hunter officially dropped out, and Thompson can't be far behind.

And fucking Edwards needs to drop out and endorse Obama already, douche bag.

Romney is polling third nationally....its more like McCain atm.

Which can be good or bad, depending on how one looks at it. The Democrats would rather have a Romney vs Hillary ticket than vs McCain ticket. And polling shows McCain has better chances against Hilary.

Polling shows McCain by 4%

As opposed to Hillary who will change her stance on pretty much anything?

McCain was for "The Surge" before Bush was. He's at least as much of a hawk as Bush on foreign policy.

McCain does have electability as a strong suit. In both his wins in NH and SC he didn't win the biggest piece of registered republicans. He got his fair share, but got big margins among independent voters which put him over the top. The polls I've looked at indicate McCain is beating Clinton in a head to head matchup by a few points and is tied or slightly behind (within margin of error) to Obama.

Ok, kind of satire. But there is a point behind this. Language has changed meaning in an Orwellian sense.

well delegates don't matter unless it reaches a convention

and if obama does somehow draw this into a delegate battle, he'll have to bite into a chunk of clinton's lion's share of superdelegates

Wow, you proved his point exactly. Go look up the "true" definition of liberalism.

From Wikipedia:

Liberalism refers to a broad array of related ideas and theories of government that consider individual liberty to be the most important political goal.[1] Liberalism has its roots in the Western Age of Enlightenment.

Broadly speaking, liberalism emphasizes individual rights and equality of opportunity. Different forms of liberalism may propose very different policies, but they are generally united by their support for a number of principles, including extensive freedom of thought and speech, limitations on the power of governments, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a market or mixed economy, and a transparent system of government.

Sounds like what you would call libertarianism, huh?

edit: Wait, I think you were joking...

Trust me all the iceberg has to do is shed a few tears and maybe kiss a few BLACK babies or two and the votes will run in. It amazes me voters haven't figured out her agenda, she says whatever will get her votes. It wasn't even "change" until she lost Iowa now its' "change" this and "change" that. McCain would be the only thing stopping another Clinton in the White House. All this country needs is a god damn dynasty of Clinton's and Bushes. After Hilary; Jeb Bush will run, just watch.

And as for Edwards, he cost Obama NH, had he dropped or cast his support to Obama earlier, he might have secured NH. But being the child that Edwards seems to hang on like, he wouldn't dare. I'd be surprised if Edwards dropped his bid before Super Tuesday.

Ok genius, what is her agenda exactly? To win the presidency? Wow what a freaking shocker. All politicians base there platform on what they believe the people want, because they are REPRESENTATIVES of the peoples voice.

I'm an obama supporter, but your mindless rants just make you look like an idiot.

hmm, looks like you had a bit of a point

By eking out 13 delegates to Clinton's 12, Obama was able to salvage a foothold in the race and keep Clinton from claiming a full dose of momentum. -AP

Senator's get butchered on their record in general elections. There hasn't been a sitting Senator elected President since Kennedy. It's so much easier to go in as a Governor where you can say you have executive experience and don't have as much history of your position on sensitive issues to attack. McCain vs Hillary would be interesting..

Shouldn't parties select people for the election based on their abilities and not on their popularity? : [
