you can add 14 raid bosses in about an hour with emerald nightmare fastclears and get 6-10 rifts per day for ~3 minutes each, they seem to count similarly to raid bosses

Especially from the perspective of skipping 2.8 expacs theres lots of things I just never ever want to go back to. And to their credit, they realise this aswell so if anything they might do a better job with the new classics. It will be worth investing some time in for sure. I find it extremely unliky that this endeavour spikes beyond the main game. There is obviously a market or niche for it without a doubt and I am glad they are doing it but alot of the the hype and novelty will wear thin reasonably quickly. At the end of the day, being able to do endgame is still what most people who actually invest their time in their game will gravitate towards.

There is 0 chance this endeavour spikes beyond the main game. It will be interesting ofc. There is obviously a market or niche for it without a doubt. Im just pointing out that the hype and novelty will wear thin very quickly. I'm aware of the changes, don't expect it to get 5 million subs but i think a lot of people dismiss the idea too quickly (you think you do but you don't) there was a decent crowd on legacy servers despite the army of people who would want to try or replay legacy when it was ran by Blizzard; i don't want and friends don't want to spend 2 months leveling a char for it to be deleted overnight to a copyright letter

Yes, when you log (aka write the ingame combatlog to a text file) the entire raid roster is recorded, not just what you personally are doing. So yes it will log other people's numbers in your raid. And you can see the entire raid group if you check a log that was upload to warcraftlogs.com.

At the same time that means that if you haven't got the right amount of boss kills, rifts etc under your belt then it's a lot less likely than you might expect to randomly drop. Show nested quote + I've been doing 50% dungeon runs (with M+ cache) and 50% questing for flying along with all the weekly LFR with possible upgrades. questing is zero contribution to legendaries, only the caches help; mythic+ is one of the lowest. LFR bosses are fine but can take a long time to kill relative to their returns, you can wipe a normal EN in 25 minutes no problem but LFR used to take me several hours to get through because of the quality of group members ------------ Show nested quote + On November 09 2017 00:44 Rebs wrote: On November 09 2017 00:38 Noocta wrote: On November 08 2017 22:28 deth2munkies wrote: On November 08 2017 18:42 Arnstein wrote: As a guy that started in Pandaria, I'm excited to check out vanilla! Prepare to be disappointed. You'll find out a lot of things that you didn't even have to think about in Pandaria are a pain in the fucking ass to do in Vanilla. Want to run a dungeon? Be prepared to spam tradechat for 30 minutes to find a tank, then have everyone fly to the nearest FP and run past a shitload of mobs to get to the instance, only to have 1 person leave and someone have to hearth back while the others wait at the entrance, then do it all over again. Honestly, I don't think anyone but people interested in nostalgia value would be interested. There's a special allure to it, but you have to understand what you go into before doing so. That special Allure is mostly nostalgia. Maybe for some people but not all. People said the same thing about classic RS before it spiked in popularity beyond the main game. Early WoW (vanilla+tbc, even wotlk) is quite different to modern WoW and the changes are not even close to all being straight upgrades, there were many tradeoffs along the way I think its different with sandbox games versus theme park games. From what I gather from /r/Kronos and /r/wowservers, a lot of the community dies on private servers when naxx comes out, because there's nothing to progress on anymore.

I put some stuff on non keybound things too like hearthstones/poisons/lockpick/etc. Misc stuff that isn't really used in combat regularly.

Not to progress your character, but there might be achievements/cosmetic shit you'll want. Anyway, when you get your Dalaran Hearthstone, you'll have access to a lot of portals all over the world. Near the Windrunner Enclave, if you're horde, you go to Org/ThunderBluff to get to Kalimdor, Undercity to get to Eastern Kingdoms Valley of Eternal Blossoms for Pandaria. If you're Alliance, Greymane enclave, Ironforge/Stormwind for Eastern Kingdoms, Darnassus to get to Kalimdor and Valley of Eternal Blossoms for Pandaria. Go to the center building in Dalaran, stand on the circle thingie, Go down the 2 sets of ramps, you have caverns of time which is southern kalimdor, Shat which is Outland, Wyrmrest Temple for Northerend, Dalaran Crater and Karazhan are in Eastern Kingdoms.
