Priests are probably worst, but why is it more important to make classes perform within a few % of eacher in raids, rather than providing some reasonable quality of life for all of them? Why do some classes have effectively 105% move speed, whilst others have 150%, for instance?

They say they want them within a certain % in damage, but i think Fury/Arms warriors have been far ahead for the entire expansion i think. Esp release arms warriors. wont forget walking into nightmare?(wasnt that the first raid) and pulling like 500k dps with basic gear due to the fact the whole spec was retarded good. wow has way too much shit going on for blizzard to achieve their goal imo. biggest problem with this expansion anyway is the legendary grind to even get a character back to being relevant

I'm not competitive at anything WoW anymore, but I already need like 2,5 Billion AP for a tiny upgrade to that Legionfall buff, I can't imagine it plays much of a roll in raids.

If you don't know what grinding legendaries for alts is then i don't think any of your complaints are warranted. 2.5bil AP isnt even a lot, just a casual run through Tomb the other day got me like.. 8 billion or some shit

The AP grind and the legendary grind. AP grind is for bonuses from your artifact weapon. Currently the big number to work towards is 75 traits which is 943 billion AP. This gives you 3 extra relic traits on the Argus Crucible which is not insignificant. The Legendary grind is about the Legendary items (Wowhead list). You can wear 2 at a time and depending on the class/spec they give huge boosts. As a new class/spec you want them. They can drop from pretty much everything but with a minuscule chance that slowly builds up. Its no big deal for people who have been playing their class/spec since the start but for new players/rerollers you want to farm activities as much as you can to get your best legendaries for this big boost. As a non raider/M+ player neither of these grinds are nothing to worry about but its more of a concern the higher up in progress you get.

Still no idea what that means, but how does that invalidate my opinion on quality of life disparities between the classes? Edit: Thanks for clearing that up. How do you farm for specific legendaries? Can you even get more after a second has dropped? I received my first two quite quickly and nothing since.

You get a random one from your selected loot spec until you have all possible ones for your spec. You can then change your loot spec and start all over. There have been several 'quality of life' buffs that dramatically increase the chance of the first 2. But since its random you can get your specs best, or worst. You can get them from almost anything in Legion but mostly Emissary chests, Mythic+ and Raids. Every time you don't get a legendary the chance for next time goes up a tiny bit. If your doing all Emissaries, a couple of M+ and a raid per week you roughly get 1 every 2 weeks.

Or farm like a crazy person and get more. yes There were people who leveling multiple characters of the same class and then raided with the one that got the best legendaries. This is where so much dislike for the legendary system comes from.

Every time you don't get a legendary the chance for next time goes up a tiny bit. It looks like an exponential curve, the drop multiplier gets huge very quickly and is the main driver of droprates There were people who leveling multiple characters of the same class and then raided with the one that got the best legendaries. Long story there, a mixture of bugs and hidden "features" about the droprates ![]() QOL i'm not so sure about max level, it seems at least okay there. At low level (below 90 or so) the abandonment of balance and sanity checks since the 5.0 and 6.0 patches have destroyed most of the specs ![]() And even the utility legendaries suck major ass... Several of them are pushing their way into replacing my BIS even though the effects do no damage just because of the amount of stats on them, i wouldn't call that sucking. Just looking at Prydaz they fixed and dramatically buffed the shield, raised the ilevel a bunch compared to regular gear, added a socket and added a third stat; it gives 220k DPS in one non-tier slot at 970, that's insane. If it were buffed by even 10% then it would shift into mainstream use for dealing raw damage on top of the dedicated damage legendaries despite being an uninteractive utility statstick, who wants that?

I honestly find the trinket situation more annoying than the legendary situation. The fact that one of the most "effective" ways a raider can spend his time is farming veiled argunite and gambling on trinkets is kind of disgusting. You have this "catch up" mechanic that can randomly produce trinkets significantly better than anything in the current raid. Ofc this is because of titanforging which is the actual worst thing. Legendary system aint great, but titanforging is much worse. btw on the quality of life in world, I am pretty sure that priests are uniquely worst off compared to EVERYONE else.

1 weekly chests 5 caches 11 raid bosses 0 mythic dungeons 20 minor rifts Druid token, lucked out on the only other class that i wanted to play in the next 6 months but now i have to hold it in her bags from level 101 (usable) until she already owns 2 balance legendaries at 110 to avoid wasting the huge bonus droprate for first legendaries on a new char/spec ![]()

Once Vanessa goes Legendary, I'll equip two more gold ones, for 150g per WQ. Keep an eye on the Commander Center building in the Broken Shore. One of the buffs is a free legendary follower item (its currently active on EU).

They're 1-2 orders of magnitude more rare than player legendaries though and most of them are pretty bad now compared to the 7.3 items i have 300 OR per world quest follower but it spawns and yells two different voice lines at the same time whenever i attack something new (despite not being in bodyguard mode), that's really annoying and barely worth the OR ![]()

I think it's very important to rework balance @ level 1-90 with maybe more changes to how leveling works as well - right now there is not any kind of interesting level experience (chars without heirloom oneshotting quest mobs etc, massive imbalance between specs) but it also takes a long time. It'd be a shame to just delete everything below level 100 but at the same time, the current iteration of it being trash but mandatory to go through for existing and especially new players feels even worse to me. Third DH spec / major DH reworks? I'm mostly happy with DH at the moment (just fuck dblades+felblade furygen) but a lot of people seem to want them Legendaries/TF - some good stuff, balance and acquisition IMO need some very serious work and thought. A handful of somewhat simple systems that are ironed out are way better than a ton of complicated and poorly balanced systems, depth in simplicity

Donno what I expect really. A new refinement on the Garrison>Order Hall system? Some new form of progression like Artifacts were this expansion. No idea where the story will go, Naga or Void would be my guess. Don't think DH get a 3e spec. They had a long time to come up with 3 before and didn't find it. Don't see why they would now. Think they will scrap the legendary system as it was in Legion tho. Might go back to MoP/WoD.
