As for Patriots, Jets probably have the best chance since they are a decent team with two shots at it. The AFC South is a terrible division. NFC East isn't great either and they're going to hit the best team, Dallas, without Romo and Bryant.

If anyone outside of the division does it, its gotta be Denver short of a trap game that the pats never seem to fall into. If they get past Denver and trap games I figure no way they don't lose one of the last two divisional games due to resting as many starters as they can get away with if nothing else. Bills are always tough for them as well. Man their schedule is weaker than I thought. As a Bills fan, I assure you we have nearly 0% chance of beating the Pats at their place. First off, we never do it, even when the Pats don't care (barring last year), and this game is a meaningful one on MNF. No way, we're taking the L to the bank. I don't see the Pats winning more than 14 games, just because it's so statistically unlikely and they'll probably have such a huge lead they'll let off the gas for a few games at the end unless Denver (and mostly Manning and the offensive line) shows a lot more on offense than they have.

Newton would probably be good for the week but looking longer than that til Ben comes back I'm leaning towards Dalton

Im in the same situation with Ben going down, but the only people I can really chose from is Vick, Carr, Flacco or Kaep. Horrible...

Derek Carr is out of the bag, right? Is Flacco an option? Crazy ideas for QBs this week only: Brandon Weeden.

They did lose to Buffalo in the last week last year. It would also require the Dolphins to get their shit together though As similar as this looks to last years situation for the Dolphins (Heading to London at 1-2 with a bunch of question marks flying around) I just don't see this working out for them. At least they had a good defense this year. You have three players on Defense that have even decided to show up all 3 games(Jenkins, Jones and Grimes) and even question marks can be raised about Grimes and his play. You have an Oline that literally cant function and a Defense that looks like they rather not be there. I'm just surprised Tannehill can function as well as he has been with the way the Oline and running game have been. I don't understand the criticism of him this year. I don't see them getting their shit together this season. It's the most talent Philbin has had on the roster in his 4 years and he literally can't even get them to play. If I was Ross and this is how the season was going I would let Philbin play out this next week. If he wins he stays if he loses and they go down to 1-3 then you fire him and Croyle and let Lazor have a shot. Why? Everyone has been harping about how good of a coach he is and how much potential he has. Let him have his shot. And to be fair What he's done with this offense the past 2 years is amazing considering the players he's had on the Oline. He's the only coach on the team right now remotely close to do his job that's not the special teams coach.

But good lord do they have a cupcake of a schedule this year. TBH, I can see them going 12-3, 13-3. The Jets and Bills aren't as good, but they both have great defenses and solid run game, which is always a recipe for an upset. NFC East isn't great either and they're going to hit the best team, Dallas, without Romo and Bryant. The dipshit ass Niners will be at the bottom if it wasn't clear enough months ago. I can't believe there was idiots saying this team was going to beat expectations after squeaking out a win vs a dumpy Vikings team. Tyron Mattheiu basically laughed at the Niners after the Cards clowned them: "We knew going into this game that the focus for them was to run the football. Their passing game has just simplified so much, it was easy for us to anticipate routes, get some good breaks on the ball today." Wow,shocker, The grand scheme of hiring a loser OC with zero meaningful experience and going back to basics doesn't work, because NFL defenses are slightly better than NCAA defenses. I would be happy if they traded Kap for a 6th rounder at this point. He's so overrated, and this team is so fucked until they go full rebuild. Except the Niners by all indications seem content to give the season an honest go of things. Great.

Tyrod Taylor and Fitzpatrick this week, shouldnt be too bad. I would imagine you can get some one like Carr or fitzpatrick pretty easily? I doubt Dalton flacco or smith is on waivers in a 2 QB league, they certainly arent in mine

Steelers > Ravens Vick can still run Pitts offense effectively as long as Mike doesn't get hurt. Ravens dont have what in takes without Suggs Panthers > Bucs Despite the NFL Refs personal bias and vendetta against Cam Newton, Panthers should have a good game with the addition of Jared Allen on defense. Raiders > Bears Bears are in complete rebuild mode and have no business thinking about winning anything Cardinals > Rams Cardinals offense is to high powered for St Louis to keep up Giants > Bills Tyrod Taylor has been unexpectedly impressive but Eli Manning is on track to have a stellar season Saints > Cowboys Luke McCown looked good against the Panthers and Weeden has lost his last 8 games in a row as a starter. Weeden is very skilled at finding ways to lose games. UPSET TIME: 49ers > Packers Rodgers has lost his last 4 games against Kapernick and Smith. I think history will repeat itself. Packers will lose this game more the 49ers will win this game.

Right now, Jimmy Clausen is the only available starter. I would rather throw this week than dump a qb for Clausen.
