Singsing plays 3 matches and loses 50 points per match, and when he wins he gets 0 points (ye, not a typo, really zero points). gege exactly same here, there is no motive to play any more ranked for me. get the worst teammeates ever and get no points if i manage to win 1v5.

Seriously, I have gotten points for every match I have won. The MMR for SingSing might have been bugged at the moment or something.

This happens because of the fact he has so much more points than the other players, and should be happening ocasionally to every other player at that level, specially with the changes to make the queues shorter. It doesn't mean MMR isn't working, it's not supposed to reward you for wins or punish you for losses.

And that is to be expected if he is matched against a team that is well below his skill level. Someone has to be at the top. But it is no reason for people complaining about ELO hell to stop playing, thinking they won't get points.

Just saying the fact it doesn't happen to your doesn't mean his MMR is bugged, that's just how it works. How many points you get don't really matter in this case, MMR works diferently at the top, it's the kind of thing where comparisons from players like Beesa are far more valuable.

Its bugged and need fixin It is possible for an individual MMR to increase after a loss or decrease after a win, but in general the winning team’s average MMR will increase and the losing team’s MMR will decrease. Valve even adressed it, saying it is possible. Bugged it isn't, since they acknowledge it as a possibility.

That's especially plausible if they indeed relaxed the search range at the high end to cut down on queue times. If you're playing with people +/- 200 from you but Sing and Beesa are playing people +/- (in this case -) 800 or something, then their rating change is going to be way different.

From what I've heard they are playing with people with 4k, so the diference is over 1k. It's pretty huge and it's unreasonable to compare such situation to your average game.

This seems to be the case, at least in my experience and i find it quite dumb, you should gain more points, IF anything. How do you know that it's not just a favored team is likely to win faster?

But it has happened literally every single time a game ends before 25 minutes, never later. I have played over a hundred ranked games and i find it hard to believe every one sided game ive encountered has ended super early, and never mid-late.
