Just because the world is shitty for a lot of people doesn't me we ignore the problem or say "It could be worse, suck it up". It is easier to address one problem at a time, rather than try to fix them all at once. We are not here to say that other problems are not problems.

Battery is a physical attack. Assault is verbal. That is the legal definition of the word and how people use it. It is why we have assault and battery and they are separate crimes.You can be sexual assaulted with words and you can be battered without being assaulted.

You didn't really have much of one, you mostly said that people were mean to everyone, so its not a problem. People do not agree and think it is a problem and as a community we can try to address or mitigate the hate and have an open open environment for all groups. You may not agree, but that doesn't mean people should stop talking about it.
