 i prefer large ice hockey because there is more room. DOes the NHL add an additional player on the ice for regular season over time games? No, they take a player off the ice, because the NHL knows that more open ice is more exciting. North America has already blinked. The trend is towards increasing the ice surface size in this continent. Europe is sticking with 200X100. | ||

I have seen all three. Honestly, I'd rather watch a WHL game all day. Big ice hockey has a... death by 1000 passes quality to it which I rather unenjoy. If I wanted to watch that I'd watch Soccer. | ||

Alex Ovechkin? ya, thought so. i'm not multi-accounting, Big Ice is already in the NCAA. And NHL ice surfaces grew from the 70s to the 90s. They'll grow in size again. The increase in size of the players will force this change. This flak i'm receiving for advocating for bigger ice is the same any man gets for being ahead of his time. | ||
