IMO, the probability of Bylsma actually being behind the bench next year is approximately 0. but, hey what do i know? People in Pittsburgh are really hoping for Babcock, and are somewhat convinced he wants to coach the Pens, but it wouldn't be til after this year.

Defense outside of Subban and Markov ain't great. Price can steal games. I guess I could cheer for them? ehhhhhhhhhh gorges - subban < pretty solid pair even tho gorges is theoretically a #4, hes just a rock solid defensive d which helps subbans game out alot markov - emelin < have been playing well for the most part in the playoffs, especially for a "2nd pair". they havnt looked out of place vs top lines beaulieu - weaver < weaver has been REALLY solid for us up until now. im extremely comfortable having him as our #6, plus hes a RHD. and beaulieu is sexy, him/tinordi/subban are the future of our d core edit: thats some pretty good depth, we managed to get through the most physical team in the NHL which says alot about them

Drives possession, puts up good top 6 numbers, good shot, good faceoffs. He's a good player when he isn't completely misused. Ditto Clark MacArthur (even though I hate him). They're miles better than the replacements of Clarkson and Bolland hes not a good locker room guy tho, he stirred up alot of shit when he was playing for us. but hes a solid player

Part of this is also Nonis protecting his job. As I've already stated, most GMs with the power-base that Nonis has can only fire so many coaches before their job gets looked at. And Carlyle is a solid coach. In case, you're wondering how i predicted the demise of Shero, i put Sidney Crosby's ice time on the X-axis, Fleury's Save percentage on the Y axis, then combined that with inverse ratio of Bylsma's corsi in the NHL versus his Corsi in college. then i found the lagrange coefficient at the asymptote and out popped May 16,2013. Some pretty amazing math there.. i must say.

Rogers is going to have some big shoes to fill when they try to equal or succeed CBC's game day hockey broadcasts. On May 06 2014 11:27 Sub40APM wrote: flood gates? lol. A terrible Rangers team is being exposed for being terrible. No surprise there. ![]() another "gold medal" glove hand save by Price. nice comments by Don about the Alley-Oop becoming a set play. no room on the ice any longer so passes are 15 feet in the air. just another sign the ice surface needs to be expanded. great way to take a goalie out of the game.. go skates first into him ![]()
