I'd have to read the whole thing, but the way around that would be to pay to become a Curio and Relic FFL. Then you are a "licensed firearm dealer". * unless it specifically goes into which FFL types can possess 10+rds
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Firearms_License
C&R is $30 up front and then $30 every 3 years. https://www.atf.gov/file/61516/download
* unfortunately it looks like you would have to be a true Type-1 dealer...which would mean several different hoops you have to jump through in CA/LA city.
(a) Has a valid federal firearms license. (b) Has any regulatory or business license, or licenses, required by local government. (c) Has a valid seller's permit issued by the State Board of Equalization. (d) Has a certificate of eligibility issued by the Department of Justice pursuant to Section 26710. (e) Has a license issued in the format prescribed by subdivision (c) of Section 26705. (f) Is among those recorded in the centralized list specified in Section 26715.

On July 30 2015 09:42 {CC}StealthBlue wrote:Show nested quote +The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to ban the possession of large-capacity gun magazines, following San Francisco to become the second major city in California to take that step.
The ordinance passed on Tuesday prohibits Los Angeles residents from possessing a handgun or rifle magazine that fits more than 10 rounds.
Residents would have 60 days after the law takes effect to remove, sell or transfer such magazines from city limits in compliance with state law, or to surrender them to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The law would take effect 30 days after Mayor Eric Garcetti signs it, a move that he was "eager" to make, he said in a statement.
The legislation comes amid increasingly urgent debate following recent mass shootings in the United States, including last week’s movie theater shooting in Lafayette, Louisiana, and an attack on a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina, last month.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the ban would not include police and military gun owners, licensed firearm dealers or people who obtained guns before 2000 that can only be used with large-capacity magazines.
Similar ordinances in San Francisco and Sunnyvale, California, have so far withstood legal challenges. Last year, a federal judge upheld a Colorado law banning magazines that hold more than 15 rounds. Source What's funny is that there are lots of pistols that come from the factory with magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. They aren't some aftermarket thing that only mass murderers use.

Lol preserving some acres of rainforest so we can erect a museum with admission when the rest of the rainforest is bulldozed for soya plantations.

I won't bloviate on it but I went to a Sanders meetup people and it was awesome. I heard 3 million people watched on his official stream did anyone catch that number?
Beyond the hype the momentum is real...
Bernie and Carson were the only candidates with net positive favorability ratings and both Bernie and Hillary are beating every republican in heads up races (Bernie is within the margin of error).
No joke, Trump is leading all the other Republicans in Hispanic support too lol.

How ironic is it that the liberal media is so busy bashing Trump that they won't let Sanders get his message across? Instead of having sanders discus his platform, their main headline is "Trump is a Mexican hating, veteran bashing, wife raper" Dems are fucking their own shit up

It's not a coincidence. Even morning Joe was ripping their producers for all the Trump they were feeding them. But it wouldn't be replaced with Sanders coverage anyway. Just Hillary, they (save a couple commentators) are in the tank for the establishment. No one with any significant power in the system wants Bernie to win, they know his whole platform is about disempowering the elites and billionaire class and handing that power over to the people.
As a reminder Trump's success isn't just a name recognition thing.
A Tuesday StPetePolls.org survey even found Trump leading two of his GOP rivals — in their home state of Florida.
The poll found Trump with 26% of the vote among Republican primary voters in the state, compared to 20% for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) and roughly 10% for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida). Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R), with 12%, also led Rubio.

Ok so when does Operation Trump kick in, and all the Dems go register in the front loaded southern primaries as Republicans? (and vote Trump)

I wasn't able to get to a meetup, but I was able to catch Bernie talking on stream quickly. It seems like quite a few of the meetups were pretty large. It's awesome to see how the momentum has changed in the last couple of months.

Were the Obama admin changes to dealing with fair housing act issues to try to get more affordable housing already discussed in thread? I can't remember whether we already went over it or not.

Trump is even beating Bush in Florida by 6 points...
Donald Trump dominated the Republican presidential field in yet another poll on Thursday, but his favorability was the lowest of any candidate and he lost all three match-ups with Democrats tested by Quinnipiac University in a poll released on Thursday.
Twenty percent of registered Republican voters said they would vote for Trump in the Republican primary, with 13 percent favoring Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) and 10 percent choosing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R).
However, Trump also dominated the "no way " list, with 30 percent of Republican voters saying they would never vote for Trump in the presidential primary, while 15 percent said they would never vote for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) and 14 percent said they would not vote for Bush. The real estate mogul also has a low favorability rating, with just 27 percent of voters viewing him positively.
And although Trump faired well against his primary opponents, voters chose Democratic candidates over Trump. Among registered voters, Trump trailed Hillary Clinton by 12 points, Vice President Joe Biden by 12 points, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) by 8 points.

I don't think so...
There was the Greenhorizon works on the Sanderscampaign posting spree (go on, you just overdid it a Little ). Then there is and was the Donald. Some other random preliminarie stuff/election stuff (lncl. SPAC's and why they are bad/good/who cares). Then a bit about harsher controlls on Banks which some think is bad because of "freedom"? Inbetween a bit Iran/Gay-Marriage and Medicare and the usual Obama is the Devil/Saint stuff...
Oh... And very recently Wegandi arrived and for some reason the free marked solves anything anywhere again, even the rain forest and famous Lions in Africa.
Meanwhile Stealthblue is posting News that, if they are about something actually interesting, everyone ignores.
I think that about covers the last 30 or so pages?

Seems accurate. A brief discussion of the lack of political will to go after high profile CEO's and employees of banks that causes the crash of 2008. Beyond that, not much else.
Housing is good, people should have it. Cheap housing is good because it prevents people form being desperate and doing things like break into my house.

As self-declared official Bernie-skeptic-in-chief, the number was 100K+ according to his campaign.
For context, 3M would be more than: 1. The largest gathering of people ever (with the exception of the Hajj) 2. About 20-30x the average viewership of League of Legends of Twitch 3. More than most weeknight television
Just a quick sanity check of numbers. 100k is a great number, let's see some growth as we go from pre-campaign to actual campaign.

Well, the 100k was for people who RSVPd to the meetups. There was also a stream online, which is what I caught, and I'm not sure what the viewership for that was like (it was only like 10-15 minutes). But 3m sounds far too large of a number to be correct.

Thought this was an interesting article from Nate Silver
...
On average in these polls, Trump’s favorability ratings among Republicans are barely better than break-even: 47 percent favorable and 43 percent unfavorable. Among the 17 Republican candidates, Trump’s net favorable rating, +4, ranks 13th, ahead of only Chris Christie, Jim Gilmore, Lindsey Graham and George Pataki.
And yet, in these same polls, Trump is the first choice of an average of 20 percent of Republican voters — the highest in the field, ahead of Scott Walker (14 percent) and Jeb Bush (12 percent).
What’s going on? On Twitter yesterday, I likened Trump to the band Nickelback: disliked by most people but with a few very passionate admirers. The best contrast to Trump is Marco Rubio: like a “lite rock” radio station, he’s broadly acceptable but few people’s favorite. Rubio’s favorable ratings are much higher (56 percent) than The Donald’s, and his unfavorable ratings are much lower (16 percent). But only 6 percent of Republicans list Rubio as their first choice.

A University of Cincinnati officer, who was charged in the murder of an unarmed black man during a routine traffic stop, has pleaded not guilty.
Officer Ray Tensing was escorted into a Hamilton County courthouse on Thursday handcuffed and in a prison uniform.
The judge presiding over the case said because Tensing is facing a potential life-in-prison sentence, she was setting his bail at $1 million.
The courtroom erupted into applause when she announced her decision, but the judge chastised them, reminding them they were in a courtroom and they should behave appropriately.

Always read Nate Silver. His insight is gold.
Edit: Good on the judge. No cheering in the courtroom.

Not ironic at all. The entire liberal media is pulling for Hillary. Ignoring Sanders and emphasizing Trump mostly makes good copy, but it also helps their agenda.
